Great river rafting experience on a hot day, friendly guide - Baron, paddling, rapids, swimming and walk in and out was no problem for early 60s couple. Good change and shower facilities and nice lunch.

It was fun to play in the water, but the ticket price felt like it was being slaughtered. The happy part: rafting in the water is very exciting, the river is long and it feels like a top experience. After getting acquainted with the road, we played with other boats, and we were all wet and happy. The guides are also responsible and impeccable. Unhappy part: Feels like tickets are being slaughtered. We got to the scene, and the driver told us it would take about 600k, and then he spoke to the receptionist first, and then the waiter asked us for 600k. Then three people spent 1,800k. Later on tripadviser check only $168 a person, each person price difference of more than $100, psychology is not a taste. It felt like the driver had lied to him, and the front desk was completely following along, the process was very informal. Recommendation: Buy tickets online in advance, not on site. Also be sure to send an extra set of clothes to change. The overall experience is still good.

The price i paid was higher they would not let me negotiate more, the lunch included was terrible. Staff were nice. I would go cheaper place next time as not affordable

An unforgettable experience with Bali Star Rafting! I highly recommend Bali Star Rafting for anyone who wants to experience an exciting adventure in Bali! From beginning to end, their service was very professional and friendly. The staff was very helpful, clearly explained the safety procedures, and made the atmosphere pleasant. The pit in the Ayung River is truly remarkable – the view is beautiful, the water is clean, and the path is suitable for beginners and experienced. Our guide is very experienced and has a sense of humor that makes the journey even more exciting. The equipment used is also well kept and safe. After the rafting, we were greeted with a delicious lunch typical of Bali that was very satisfying. The place is clean and comfortable, making this experience perfect. Thank you Bali Stars Rafting, I will definitely come back again and recommend it to friends!

This was our second visit. 2 years ago we did the same. Brought our adult kids and partners back. 6 of us in one boat. We had a fantastic time. Or guide was excellent and we felt safe. You definitely get wet, and possibly jump in at the end for a 50m float down the river, so wear bathers with clothes over them. We kept items in our drivers car, but I just rinsed off in the shower at the base (big pipe in the wall with water dumping on you) and they supply clean towels to dry off. You remove shoes in the boat, but will need something to wear to hike up and down the many steps to the river and back, and wet. So things or crocs. Bring a waterproof phone lanyard. Hat and sunnies might get lost too, so prepare for that. Last time we came, I was pretty sure that the smorgasbord food at the end was not kept at safe temperatures for correct time and I was unwell. This time there wasn’t much left, so we ate watermelon with caution. What I didn’t like was that our driver had set up that we would pay basically $100 each when the cost is actually like $30-40. Luckily husband was on it, but some awkward confrontations had to be done. He played dumb on it, but it left us in doubt and a reminder to trust no one. This is a physical activity and everyone has to paddle and work. So if you want a lazy river ride, this isn’t for you. Do the tubing instead. Also, there’s a halfway stop where you buy a drink and it’s recommended to buy your guide a drink too. Prices are high. $4 for potato chips. But at least buy your driver a drink. It’s easier to leave your water bottle behind too, it’ll be in the way.

Great experience to discover the jungle. It’s a good idea to cool off and at the same time discover the beautiful Balinese landscape. However, be careful , great stairs are at the rendezvous. We left with the DK guide who was great. Very nice and who taught us on some subjects. We highly recommend

Be careful of their Scam. Half way through the rafting tour the guide will stop the raft for a break on the side of the river. Even if you don’t want to stop. They will provide you with a choice of drinks and foods. This is not part of the tour. This is a Scam. Don’t stop and carry on. They will over charge you when you get back to reception. Not just for your drinks and food but also your guides food and drinks.

The overall experience was great, BUT the start time Viator gives is inaccurate!! We showed up at 8am per the Viator information and were told they did not even open until 9 and our trip would start at 9:30am.

The Ubud rafting experience is an entertaining activity, with beautiful views along the river. As a rafting activity, it is quite simple, with easy quicks and little physical effort, as you only have to paddle at specific times. For those looking for something more challenging, it can feel more like a river walk, and in some areas the water is so low that the raft even gets stuck in the stones. The organization could be improved; although we were assigned a guide, we were in a large group, and the instructions were somewhat confusing until the last moment, when we finally knew which boat we were on. We were six people plus the guide on the raft. At the end of the activity, a simple buffet is offered but with nice views of the rice paddies, which was nice. I recommend paying in cash, as a fee applies when paying by card.

What an amazing experience this was, I can’t recommend it enough. We had watched the rafts down below in the river from our hotel and it looked and sounded so much, boy we were not disappointed. It’s a bit of a trek down to the river but worth every step. We were given a safety briefing prior to boarding the raft and then once we were on board and on our way it was fun, magical and breathtaking all the way. Our guide was so much fun and a very able oarsmen and I only hope you have the sme guy. There was lots of banter between us and the other rafts and much splashing each other at every opportunity. We stopped at a lovely waterfall for pictures and then stopped again for drinks along the route before arriving at our final destination and a short but steep climb up the hill for our lunch.
