Jaclyn was sensational! We were so lucky to have her as our guide! Don't hesitate to book! 10/10
The tour itself was very interesting and informative. However, the previous day, the operator had changed the meeting point but the email confirmation did not specify this. Once informed, we had a 15 minute walk to the new meeting point: fortunately we were the only people on the tour so no-one else was held up. Then, when we reached the meeting point, we couldn’t identify the guide as she was not wearing any company uniform, so she had to approach us. Finally, at the end of the tour, according to the information on the website, we should have been given entry tickets to the art gallery - none were forthcoming.
I’m sorry the change in meeting point wasn’t clearly communicated in your confirmation email, especially with such short notice and the extra walk it caused. It’s also understandable that not having a clear uniform made it harder to identify the guide at the start, and that the missing art gallery tickets at the end didn’t match what was listed on the website.
Good way to see the sights. Our guide was very nice but shared very little about the significance of the sights and monuments. The tour was long at 2 hours and included a 1 hour boat trip making it 3 and 1/2hours total. The boat trip was not mentioned in the description of the walk.
Was long, but a great way to see the city and our guide, Elie, was very nice and knowledgeable. The boat tour, which we did not realize was part of the tour, was a nice surprise that gave us a better idea of the more residential part of Ottawa. The tour was long, and you need to be able to walk without any limitations.
