Il 'Legendary tour' è in corso da oltre un decennio ed è stato molto elogiato nel corso degli anni per andare ben oltre il contorno storico della città. Vi portiamo in giro serpeggiante per i vicoli della bella città medievale con alcune fermate che si riferiscono a tempi più moderni. Il tour si concentra sulle leggende piuttosto che solo sulla storia e si adatterà per attirare gli interessi personali dei partecipanti. Galway ha alcune storie affascinanti che vengono portate in vita attraverso la narrazione di Neil. Chi può resistere a storie d'amore, pirati, omicidi e avventure in nuove terre? Tour was very informative about galway history. Enjoyed the stories as we walked around and saw sights.
The young lady who took the tour was very informative & made the tour very enjoyable. I was fascinated by the murder story which she explained very well. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone going to Galway.
The Legendary Walking Tour of Galway is a truly unique experience sharing the history and culture of medieval Galway and how it relates to modern life. Our guide, Martin, was exceptionally knowledgeable as he guided us through the oldest parts of medieval Galway. He made the history come alive through funny anecdotes and strange and interesting facts. He was more than willing to answer any questions that anyone in the group asked. Highly recommend!!
We were guided around Galway by Neil, who was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. He had unbelievable history knowledge and story telling ability for the entire 90 minutes. A great way to see Galway while getting a good dose of history. Recommend for anyone visiting Galway who likes stories from the past, and a great local guide!
Tailored to our needs. Good snapshot of the town
We seldom, if ever, rate this low on anything. However, it should be known that we were expecting a historical walking tour. Instead, we had a walking tour that gave us pieces of a single story at each stop. What made it frustrating was at the final stop, we learned the story that had been given to us was not historically accurate at all. At no time during this tour did they give us any historical facts about anything along the way. While our guide was very nice, we certainly expected more. I hope you take this as constructive criticism and alter the plans for future guests.

We had a lovely time learning more about the history of Galway! We visited several places we wouldn’t have easily found on our own, which I found very valuable.
Neil is a good story-teller. Good mix of history, with the reality of everyday life in Galway. Was very open to questions, and shared knowledge freely.
There were only two participants, yet our guide was happy to lead us through the city and provided many interesting background information about the houses and buildings. It was pleasantly engaging and also at the right pace.
Really great information about the city and area. Great recommendations and very friendly. Our kids enjoyed the tour as well.
