Unbelievable experience at this Hideaway hosted by Hannah and her staff. Great introduction to a Vietnamese Homestay. From the moment we stepped on to the property we felt relaxed and at home. Hannah was so welcoming with her beautiful smile and great outlook on life when sharing her travels and culture. Her on site staff was just as warm, especially Minh who gave us impromptu tours and quick anecdotes about his upbringing in Hanoi. Besides Hannah’s infectious energy and vibe, the other huge standout was Toan, our tour guide for two days on our Rustic bike ride and boat ride thru the Cai Rang Floating Market. This young man was so full of positiveness and information. We engaged in such extensive and deep conversations about life in Vietnam and our hopes for the future. He even went out of his way to ride us back from the City Center, where he resides, at the end of a long day when it was already well past the end of his shift. I feel like I’ve made a friend for life and I hope to see them again in our future endeavors. We cannot express how grateful we are that we were able to have this experience at the Rustic Mekong Hideaway. I will plan to bring my children back one day so that they can also have a chance to capture this feeling. We definitely recommend this property to anyone seeking a quiet and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of HCMC. See you soon Rustic.
The place was awesome! The room was clean and spacious enough for our family. The bungalows are located in the middle of a beautiful garden, surrounded by the sounds of nature. The staff were very nice and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious! I will recommend the place to my family and friends.
The Mekong Rustic Hideaway is super nice, quiet and invites you to relax. This is exactly how we imagined our stay in the Mekong Delta. In the middle of nature, no stress, no hustle and bustle. Wonderful fresh food from the market, relax by the pool and explore the area with our private tour guide (Toan). Plus a fantastic warm hospitality. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the Rustic Hideaway 100%!
We had the pleasure of being guided around on bike by Henry. He was really nice and told about everything on the road. He took really good care of our 6-year-old boy. And our boy thinks Henry was awesome.
