Itinerario
Prima tappa della giornata è l'iconico Seljalandsfoss. Una mascella che lascia senza fiato la vista maestosa con la possibilità di camminare dietro la cascata! Dopo aver goduto Seljalandsfoss facciamo una breve escursione al suo vicino Gljúfrarbúi (Colui che vive nella montagna) per meravigliarne la bellezza. Come suggerisce il nome, la cascata è nascosta all'interno della montagna ma facile da trovare, una volta conosciuto il percorso.
Proseguiamo verso il villaggio di Vík í Mýrdal, un piccolo villaggio sorprendente e probabilmente uno degli insediamenti più fotografati in Islanda. L'iconica chiesa si vede in tutti gli annunci fotografici, e la vista dalla chiesa è mozzafiato. Facciamo la nostra pausa pranzo lì prima di continuare i nostri viaggi.
La spiaggia di sabbia nera di Reynisfjara è una delle più grandi attrazioni in Islanda e le iconiche scogliere di Reynisdrangar, che si stagliano dal mare. Fai attenzione, le maree possono sgattaiolare su di te.
Facciamo una passeggiata sul lato selvaggio verso i ghiacciai e poniamo delicatamente i piedi sul bordo. Fatti un selfie e voilà, possiamo affermare di aver calpestato un ghiacciaio.
La maestosa cascata Skógarfoss è alta 60 metri nientemeno. Si possono passare ore a fissarlo. Passeremo 30 minuti a farlo

Il prelievo inizia 30 minuti prima dell'orario di partenza. Si prega di essere pronti presso il luogo di prelievo in quanto il minibus raccoglierà tutti i passeggeri in quel lasso di tempo di 30 minuti. A causa delle normative cittadine, ai veicoli di grandi dimensioni è vietato entrare in alcune strade del centro di Reykjavik. Vengono pertanto utilizzati alcuni punti di prelievo e di riconsegna, riferiti alle Fermate degli autobus.

The Iceland South Coast sites small group tour that we went on was fantastic! It was done by East West Tours and our tour guide was Martin. Martin was a wealth of Icelandic folklore, knowledge about all the sites we saw, and Icelandic statistics! We couldn’t have had a better tour guide! If you booked this tour, I recommend you ask for Martin !💙 Godafoss Falls is spectacular. the black sand Beach is amazing, the church in Vik is a great viewing point, and the Sólheimajökull Glacier was incredible!!!

Great tour. Our guide was very informative and pointed out many things as we were driving. All of the stops were good. Our guide watched the weather and mixed up the order to save us from hitting the best sights in the rain
Great tour with a real mixture of sights. Small comfortable bus. Best of all was the guide - Michaela - who has a great sense of humour; kept us well informed; and kept checking the weather reports to rearrange the order of sights visited. She was brilliant. She also allowed just the right amount of time at each stop - long enough that you didn't feel rushed, but short enough that you weren't kicking your heels. Do take waterproofs for the waterfall visits!
The best tour we did in Iceland. Excellent guide, comfortable bus and great locations. Wished we had booked our other tours with Eastwest.
This was an enjoyable day trip! Our guide, Oscar, was top notch. He shared a lot of interesting facts during our drives between stops. The south coast landscape is incredible and not to be missed. I had my elder mother with me and she was able to participate in everything except walking behind the waterfall. She was happy to sit and watch the waterfall. Plenty of time was spent at each site with opportunities to buy coffee, lunch or snacks along the way. Highly recommended!
Leroy with Easywest did a great job with our tour today! He was energetic and entertaining and we learned a lot! The time at each location gave tourists ample exploring/eating opportunities! My favorite spots were the black sand beach and the secret waterfall!

Iceland is breathtaking, and this tour captured everything I dreamed of! Thingvellir’s rugged landscapes, the mesmerizing eruption of Geysir, and the soul-soothing beauty of Gullfoss it was all perfect. And just when I thought the day couldn’t get better, Arnar "Thor" took us to Efstidalur farm for the best ice cream ever. The scenery, the stories, and the adventure made this a day I’ll never forget!
