Descrizione
Inizieremo al mattino presto con il prelievo dal tuo alloggio. Quindi, guideremo per 3 ore al villaggio di Mollepata (2.900 mslm / 9.515 piedi), dove faremo una deliziosa colazione e avremo energia per andare a Soraypampa (3.850 mslm / 12.631 piedi). Da questo punto inizieremo il trekking verso il lago. Durante la salita, avremo l'opportunità di osservare la diversa flora e fauna che popolano la zona. Siamo in grado di trovare alcuni uccelli autoctoni della zona, nonché di ottenere splendide viste sul paesaggio andino. Una volta arrivati nella zona, godremo di splendide viste panoramiche sulla spettacolare Laguna di Humantay (4.200 mslm) e le sue acque turchesi. Dopo esserci rilassati, scenderemo a Soraypampa, dove i nostri mezzi di trasporto ci aspetteranno per portarci a Mollepata per pranzo. Più tardi, il nostro trasporto ci riporterà in città e ci lascerà vicino alla piazza principale di Cusco.

Il lago Humantay è una delle tante gemme nascoste dell'altopiano del Perù. Le acque gelide color smeraldo e il ghiacciaio enormemente imponente si fondono in perfetta armonia per lo spettacolo davvero incredibile che si vede. È davvero una gemma nascosta, poiché è incastonata tra due diverse vette e l'unico modo per accedervi (in sicurezza) è dal basso. Un breve viaggio di due ore ti permetterà di goderti questo bellissimo gioiello della natura.

The walk was hard, I would recommend taking a horse from the beginning if you are coming from other days of walks or tours. But when you get there it's all worth it. The view is incredible, like you are in a place out of this world. Our guide Saúl was always aware of each member of the group and explained every detail to us. I would definitely return!

We did this tour with Guido Chavez and it was incredible! Guido was very knowledgeable about Inca history and we learned a ton in addition to the amazing views at the lake. Guido also led us in a traditional Inca ceremony that was very moving. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Humantay Lake.
