Our guide Noom was very friendly and helpful!! He did all in his power to spot elephants. Seems that it was not our lucky day, we only saw 2 elephants in the far distance. After the tour we had a good dinner, and Noom brought fruits to try. Frankly speaking, belief that the costs are not in balance with the given tour. The NP is actually a 7km road, which you drive up and down. At the end of the road you can spend time to walk around. Our experiences with safaris are very different to what we experienced today.
I was worried about traveling alone, but my tour guide's explanations were impeccable. The hour-and-a-half drive was filled with fascinating facts about Asian elephants, the history of Kui Buri National Park, and more. If you're visiting Hua Hin, I highly recommend visiting. I was able to encounter and observe 11 elephants, dozens of gaurs, hornbills, and many other animals. Guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and fauna.Obviously you can't guarantee when you will see the elephants but I was lucky and saw a family.Guide had anecdotes they shared as well to make it even more interesting.
