Mt. Field offre una varietà di passeggiate in uno dei parchi nazionali più antichi della Tasmania. Più famoso per Russell Falls e la pista degli alberi alti, esploriamo le varie passeggiate in questo parco diversificato che si trova a 1 ora e mezza di auto da Hobart
Russell Falls è facilmente la cascata più riconoscibile della Tasmania con la sua caduta a 3 livelli. È una passeggiata facile e divertente lungo un bellissimo sentiero forestale tra specie miste di foresta e foresta pluviale temperata. Questa è la cascata più fotografata di Tassie e ci immergiamo nella splendida vista prima di continuare la nostra passeggiata. Appena oltre le Russell Falls saliamo le scale per le Horseshoe Falls, una maestosa cascata rannicchiata nella foresta, che alcuni considerano ancora più impressionante delle Russell Falls!
Un breve circuito di 30 minuti ci porta intorno al Tall Trees Track. In alto sopra di noi si ergono le gigantesche gomme da palude alte circa 80 metri. Questa è una serie di brevi e spettacolari passeggiate tra la fresca e tranquilla foresta pluviale, gli eucalipti, i ruscelli e la fauna locale.
Continuiamo lungo il circuito delle tre cascate ed entriamo nel tratto noto come Tall Trees Track. In alto sopra di noi si ergono le gigantesche gomme da palude alte circa 80 metri, la pianta da fiore più alta del mondo. Da qui, abbiamo la possibilità di continuare l'intero circuito lungo il circuito delle Three Falls, portandoci poi a Lady Barron Falls, oppure, per i meno attivi, possiamo tornare al punto di partenza.

Per concludere in bellezza questa giornata molto tasmaniana, ci dirigiamo verso la vetta del Kunanyi /Mt. Wellington. Stare in alto sopra Hobart a 1271 m in una giornata limpida è a dir poco spettacolare. Le viste dall'alto sono ampie. Questo è un modo fantastico per concludere una giornata esplorando molte delle esperienze più uniche e degne di nota di Tassie, foreste pluviali, cascate, fauna selvatica e paesaggi favolosi. Rientriamo a Hobart verso le 17:30.

This is a well organised tour. Our guide/driver Lukas was outstanding - helpful, polite, and full of excellent information which enabled us to understand so much about Tasmania's envirnment and history.
Beautiful scenery and a great guide - Hannah - who made the day fun. The walking is pretty easy, but plenty of steps if you choose the longer options. It’s great that they offer alternatives for different levels. The trip to the top of Mount Wellington was impressive. At this time of year (January), the beauty of the alpine plants beats the views - fantastic.

This is a must do tour and they cover key places. Our tour guide was Hanna who is very well travelled, great driver and an expert at guiding the group well. The walk/hike at Mount Field is must do. There was wooden manmade stairs which makes the stairs part easier. Do need some active level to get this going. Bonorong wildlife sanctuary is a MUST visit too. We got only 30 mins at Mount Wellington and reached back Hobart by 5pm. Wish we could get 1 hour at Mt Wellington and reach back Hobart by 5.30pm.

Firstly, our tour guide — Clinton — was an absolute gem! So personable, so knowledgeable… his energy, stories and insights made the tour absolutely terrific. Secondly, the combination of activities made for a perfect day out. Waterfalls in the rain forest, tall trees, ice cream and fresh berries, the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (also a fantastic learning experience) and finally driving to the top of Mt. Wellington for an amazing 360 degree view. What a great day!! Highly recommend this tour.

It was very nice 🤩 the bush was just beautiful and it was a nice hiking trail where you had seen different waterfalls. Our tour guide Ben explained and explained a lot , which was very interesting. On the way to the Bush, we had also seen many Destinia. Always a recommendation

Can't believe so much can be packed into one day while not feeling rushed. You get to see so many amazing sights on this tour. Hiking, kangaroo feedings, and amazing views. So happy this was my first experience in Tasmania. Truly a special and perfect day to start my trip.
A great and varied day. We especially enjoyed the wonderful walks through beautiful Mt Field National Park. Our guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable about geology, plants, trees, and animals and added a lot to our experience. He was also friendly, professional, and organized.
