Itinerario
Unisciti a noi per iniziare presto la mattina, battendo la folla a Bruny Island! Partiamo da Hobart in direzione sud, un viaggio panoramico di 30 minuti ci porta a Kettering e al terminal dei traghetti. Qui avrai l'opportunità di acquistare qualsiasi colazione, snack o cibo per il pranzo di cui potresti aver bisogno per la giornata a venire, quindi saliamo a bordo del traghetto diretto a Bruny Island.
Iniziamo le nostre avventure sull'isola con una spettacolare escursione che mette in evidenza lo straordinario scenario costiero. Seguiamo il sentiero della Regina Elisabetta. Non completiamo la passeggiata completa oggi, camminiamo verso Mars Bluff, Miles Beach, le formazioni rocciose uniche e poi torniamo. I primi 30 - 40 minuti della passeggiata sono una facile passeggiata lungo un ampio sentiero sabbioso che vi porta verso la spiaggia attraverso la brughiera costiera. Passiamo tra Big Lagoon e Little Lagoon, sede di un gran numero di uccelli acquatici. Un'escursione in salita di 10 minuti ci porta sopra Mars Bluff, dove l'elevazione offre una bella vista sulla costa circostante. Scendiamo sulla remota Miles Beach ed esploriamo le formazioni rocciose uniche. Abbiamo tutto il tempo per scattare in questa meravigliosa location, fotografare l’Arco prima di tornare all’inizio del sentiero. La passeggiata che completiamo è di circa 6 chilometri, ed è classificata come passeggiata costiera facile da moderare.
La prossima tappa della nostra avventura di Bruny è l'istmo che unisce l'isola di Bruny settentrionale e meridionale: quest'area è conosciuta come The Neck ed è la sede di Trugannini Lookout. Ci sono 279 scale per raggiungere la cima, dove sarai ben ricompensato con viste fantastiche! Ci prendiamo un momento qui per esplorare e individuare le tane dei pinguini tra le dune di sabbia.
Proseguendo da The Neck, ci fermiamo per un po' di storia locale a Two Tree Point, Resolution Creek e Coal Point prima di arrivare ad Adventure Bay. Adventure Bay è il principale "Hub" di Bruny Island e la location per la nostra pausa pranzo. Puoi rilassarti sulla spiaggia con un po' di tempo libero e il tuo pranzo, oppure puoi unirti alla nostra guida turistica per il pranzo al Bruny Island Cruises Seafood Restaurant. Una splendida posizione fronte mare.
Ci riuniamo dopo pranzo pronti per un piacevole pomeriggio alla scoperta dei prodotti artigianali di fama mondiale di Bruny Island. Facciamo tappa alla Bruny Island Chocolate Company (azienda di cioccolato vincitrice di premi specializzata in fondenti alla crema fatti a mano, prodotti di cioccolato),
La nostra prossima tappa ci porta a Bruny Island Honey, dove potrai degustare gratuitamente il miele naturale prodotto sull'isola e un delizioso gelato al miele. Il prossimo trattamento di degustazione è Bruny Island Cheese Co. (produttore di formaggio e birraio artigianale, comprese le degustazioni alle porte della cantina) e Get Shucked Oyster Farm (produzione di ostriche nell'acqua pura di Great Bay). Dopo un'intera giornata di paesaggi, frutti di mare, spiagge e sapori deliziosi sull'isola, torniamo a Hobart intorno alle 17:00.

Ben done a stirling job with great bush knowledge and made sure we were all well on our hike, great interaction with us all and a great day out!
Loved the hike to the rocks, they’re definitely worth seeing! Shops were okay but not necessary. We enjoyed them but would’ve loved if it was just the hike and exploring some more of the island. Matt was a great guide! Loved that he was relaxed and attentive to our needs. He was knowledgeable and very kind to us guests. He did a great job and we had a fantastic day.

Make sure you are fit if doing this tour. We chose wrong option however walked to sites and areas only available by foot. Heather was great. Includes 3hr hike.

The hike was amazing. Would have been better if most of the day was a hike and just minimal time food tasting as they were all $.

Loved the hike and seeing nature close up. Enjoyed the stops to taste local produce and enjoy the scenery. Small group easy and friendly. Our guide Heather was fantastic. She is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and extremely patient. Highly recommend if you like to do more than just sit in a bus.

Heather was an amazing guide, she knew so much about the island but generally about Australia too it was a pleasure meeting her. The walk was wonderful, it was high tide so we had to go up a small mountain rather than the beach but it was still so worth it because we got a great view of the neck! I didn’t love that there are so many shop stops, for example if you’re not a drinker there’s not much else around the cheese and beer tasting so I was kind of just sitting around. It would be great if there was an option to do a second walk instead or something. But generally the timing of everything was pretty good!
