Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area, showed us historical pictures to help us understand how much was destroyed and how much it has changed and told stories of survival, starvation and desperation as well as hope and determination. we walked about 5km during the trip and the pace was rather speedy but there were only 3 of us and we were all fit.
It should not be considered a vacation, but if you are in Warsaw and want to learn more about what the grim history has left us... it is essential to retrace the streets of the Jewish ghetto....
I had an excellent, super informative and insightful three-hour walking tour with an excellent guide, Olivia. Olivia was not only prompt, but highly knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw, the remains of the Jewish ghetto and truly enlightened me. While I had read a fair amount about WWII and even seen the film The Piano, Olivia showed me specific sights and areas which I had zero knowledge of. I am a walker and LOVE walking, so we covered a lot of territory (all flat ground, nothing steep) and covered virtually everything imaginable. Olivia's historical background and insights were especially impressive, and her explanations about the Ghetto uprising and the remnants of the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto were quite powerful and I learned a lot. Highly recommended tour!
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was very prompt and kept us on schedule Would highly recommend
This walking tour was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on. We had such a great time and learned a lot from Olivia. She tailored our tour based on what we were interested in, which included a delicious dessert break, deep conversations about religion and hope, and lots of laughs. There were just 5 of us and Olivia, and we ended as such good friends. Olivia brought a binder of photos to compare with how everything looks like today, which was super interesting and helpful. Her knowledge was excellent and she made the tour an interactive story. Thank you so much Olivia and to those interested in the best Jewish Ghetto Warsaw tour, you must choose this!
This tour was authentic, interesting, and very well done. Olivia was a great guide and related the story of this tragic event in a beautiful way. It’s a story to share, to appreciate and respect. Highly recommend this tour to all.
This was one of the best walking tours we have ever taken. Aga was an amazing guide, and really brought together the history of Jews in Warsaw in a cohesive and meaningful way. Highly recommend!!!
Incredible and knowledgeable tour guide ("Aga") made this "bucket list" experience that far, far exceeded my expectations! "Encourage anyone seeking their Jewish roots in Poland to take the tour and understand the history.
