Highly recommend this tour. We had our 13yr old nephew with us and Michiyo kept him engaged. Great to wear your kids out and learn about a temple. Beautiful views at the top.
Thank you very much for your comment! We are so glad you gave us a great review to our guide and enjoyed our tour! Hope to see you again in the future:)
Stephanie was a wonderful guide! She was attentive and taught me so much as we hiked. I liked stopping at the small temples along the way and having the opportunity to worship at ones I thought resonated with me. After we reached the top, we took time for “forest bathing” by using our five senses to connect with the nature around us. Shavasana among the trees was a lovely way to rest after the many stairs up. It was certainly healing. The tea ceremony overlooking Hiroshima was our “taste” sense, and I had the opportunity to make the matcha, too. Stephanie took lots of pictures and sent them to me afterward, which I especially appreciated since I traveled alone.
This is a beautiful, peaceful tour in amongst the trees. We enjoyed the knowledge and friendly chat with our guide, Stephanie. The forest bathing was very relaxing and fun. Beautiful spot for the tea ceremony. Thank you for the photos Stephanie. Highly recommend

This was a wonderful tour climbing up Mt Futaba (not a demanding climb for most). Very peaceful and close to nature with shrines and an open air tea ceremony at the end. Michi was an excellent guide and the whole experience was very enjoyable.

Would highly recommend this when you go to Hiroshima. The tour was an experience greater than I anticipated. Naomi was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. The rich information and stories about the sites, along with the opportunity to embrace nature.. it was holistic. The 500 step hike up Mount Futaba starts with Toshogu temple, with stops at shrines along the way up, at the top you have panoramic city views from the Futabayama Peace Pagoda. On our decent, Naomi led me through a forest bath - which was an amazing way to connect back with nature and get grounded. This was followed by a mountaintop tea ceremony with more spectacular views of the city below,
