Questo tour stagionale di osservazione delle balene ti porta a bordo di un catamarano a vela da 24 passeggeri da Hervey Bay a Platypus Bay a K'gari (Fraser Island). Gli ospiti limitati consentono un tour davvero intimo con conversazioni individuali per ascoltare questi maestosi animali. My friend and I had the most amazing day whale watching with Pete and Cassie. They are both so knowledgeable and are fabulous hosts. Pete shared his vast knowledge and experience and Cassie kept us fed and hydrated with morning tea, a fabulous buffet lunch and afternoon tea. The whales came right up to our boat, playing and checking us out. Being on a catamaran meant we were so close to them and with only 24 passengers there are lots of opportunities to stand along the side and view these magnificent mammals. I highly recommend booking a whale watch excursion with Blue Dolphin Marine Tours. My friend and I intend to book with them again next year.

We went out with Peter, Cass and Silka over 3 days and had a fabulous time each day. The boat you go out on is amazing, the food served is plentiful and so good. And the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and awesome. Being out for the full day gives you more time and opportunities to find the best whales(ones that want to hang out with us). Would definitely recommend going out with Blue Dolphin. It’s now my only choice when I’m in Hervey Bay.

I went on the day long whale watching tour and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff did everything they could to make it a magical day. We saw many whales including 2 whales that played around the boat going from underneath to playing from side to side. They stayed with us for over an hour. What an experience. Thankyou Blue Dolphin!

Amazing adventure that we have. Whales were playing with, and saying bye with beautiful jumps. This is possible due the crew professionalism. Their focus is always to provide the best experience possible.

Not for the first time, I went out for three consecutive days of whale watching and photography. Co-owner/operator Peter Lynch started with the safety briefing and a detailed introduction to cetaceans in general, humpback whales in particular, then provided commentary throughout the day. The vessel was driven with priority to passenger safety and with respect to the many whale pods we encountered, avoiding disturbing or distressing them. This resulted in wonderful experiences each day. Sure, this is Peter’s ‘job’, but he’s obviously as passionate about the humpbacks as anyone who takes the tour. Then there was the crew - Cassie and Silky/Silkie looked after everybody all day. Don’t know where they find the energy (or the ability to walk around the deck of the moving vessel carrying snacks and drinks). Great to catch up again with Jodie Lynch, though she wasn’t able to join us on board. She and Peter work hard to make Blue Dolphin a world-class operation.

Have done a number of whale watching tours out of Hervey Bay and Blue Dolphin comes out on top. The full day tour is slower, longer and more intense. Pete and Cassie look after their 24 guests and do their utmost to give you the best whale watching experiences they can while feeding you delicious food🤣

Amazing whale watching experience. Cannot fault the crew/staff, and luckily scored a beautiful sunny day on calm seas. Highly recommended, and I hope to repeat visit at some point.

Best experience ever! We were on the sea for 8 hours. We saw humpback whales, minke whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. 3 whales were about 1 meter directly by the boat; you could have almost touched them. Brilliant. Unforgettable! The kids were mega impressed. Thank you.

Have done a few HB whale tours and Blue Dolphin is the gold standard. They offer a full day out in a small group and Pete and Cassie have an abundance of knowledge, experience and expertise. You are fed and watered at regular intervals which usually helps keep sea sickness at bay.
