Halifax Hop On Hop Off Bus

This was a great tour! We got off at 2 stops (the Citadel and Titanic Burial grounds) since we had seen some of Halifax before. Each tour guide was knowledgeable, informative and friendly. We learned so much about Halifax

Great H on Hop Off. The check in was a bit dicey because we went through Biator but the bus company allowed us to load at ship instead of stop 2, 10 minute walk which would have been very difficult with recent tendon and knee surgery.

We rode the loop twice, with a different guide on each. It was a good way to get an overview of the city. We liked being able to embark and disembark from the Atlantic Museum, and across the street from a good restaurant, McKelvey’s, for lunch.

We always use these when we visit a new town/city. This bus is one of the few ways to also get to the Titanic Cemetery. As Londoners my siblings and I reminisced about using the buses when we were younger and jumping on/off (and seeing others do the same) whilst the bus was in motion (we had paid our fare by the way). Sometimes seeing people not quite make it (probably why you cannot do it nowadays). The tour was good and we started with Andrea (dressed in her tartan). The woman is "wired to the moon". She is knowledgeable but so funny, a great asset to the company, I am sure. Well worth it as you can go all the way around and then stop at locations for a closer look.

would be a great option for elderly people or folks with mobility issues, but halifax is extremely walkable so we spent more time waiting on the bus than we would have walking to the landmarks. not worth the $ like it is in other cities. having said that the guides were entertaining and had good stories!

We love hop on buses to explore when we first arrive in a new city, however when I went on line to book Halifax's double decker hop on bus I cancelled and will not book this city tour. The price was too high, at over $200 for 2 people, and included a minimum 15% mandatory gratuity which is very off-putting. The bus only runs for 6 hours on the day we wanted to book, which means we would be rushed to get through the sites we wanted to see. We will get around just fine using Uber!

Rhonda was a great tour guide. We really enjoyed how much she knew about the tour. We rode the whole route to see it all and then were going to ride again and get off where we wanted the second time. The second time we rode with another lady who talked about buying gummies the whole time. We thought it was very unprofessional and didn't like that, but to each his own. Rhonda made each story have a meaning and even brought some of her own personal experiences into it with her family and such. She was very personable. We enjoyed her tour.

But they will have a fun time because the best drivers are always so enough And entertaining and love their jobs it's easy to Feel comfortable and cared about while on the 🚌

Easy to navigate Jim and Jimmy were superb narrators. Plenty of time to see many sights. Highly recommend public Gardens

Hop on, Hop off busses are a wonderful thing! They give a traveler a way of experiencing a city at their own pace. The Halifax busses are also a great system. However, they are older busses and not at comfortable a some city’s. Now - that is not that important to me because I am really hopping on and off a lot. But if you were to use them as sort of a tour taxi, that may be an issue, We started our tour at the museum and road the entire circuit. The announcer was helpful with good information but the stops are far between so you are on the bus a lot. Do take the bus if you have a limited amount of time and would like a good overview of Halifax. Just me opinion 😁
