Questo viaggio di mezza giornata include lussureggianti foreste pluviali, coste panoramiche e piatti locali come il famoso pane alla banana di Hana, il tutto senza impegnarti in un tour di un'intera giornata. Parti per un'avventura mozzafiato a Maui lungo la famosa Hana Highway! Scopri lussureggianti foreste pluviali, cascate e viste sull'oceano. Passeremo davanti al parco di Ho’okipa Beach, la “capitale degli sport del vento”, e avvisteremo le tartarughe marine verdi hawaiane. Esplora i colorati alberi di eucalipto arcobaleno, guida attraverso la foresta di bambù e visita l'aspra penisola di Keanae per vedere le onde che si infrangono, gustare pane fresco alla banana e fermarti alla storica chiesa di Lanakila (costruita nel 1856). Al Pua’a Ka’a State Park, nuotate in piscine d’acqua dolce rinfrescanti (a vostra discrezione e rischio) o semplicemente rilassatevi. Con pick-up e drop-off inclusi, questa è la magia di Maui al suo meglio!"

Piccoli villaggi hawaiani che fanno del loro meglio per vivere come gli hawaiani di una volta. Cacciare maiali e coltivare taro, frutta del pane e banane sono tutte parti importanti della vita quotidiana di questa piccola comunità. È anche il sito del famoso stand Half Way to Hana Snack; ghiaccio rasato, cocco fresco, bevande fredde e, naturalmente, l'Original Fresh Baked Banana Bread. Le Keanae si affacciano e la penisola offrono viste su una delle più grandi fattorie di taro delle Hawaii.

È abbastanza facile accedere alla cascata da qui. Alcune persone amano fare un tuffo nelle acque fredde vicino alla cascata e in una giornata calda. Indossare costume da bagno a strati e portare il cambio di vestiti. Non dimenticare gli asciugamani.

Ho'okipa Beach è considerata la capitale mondiale del windsurf, puoi divertirti a guardare windsurf, kite boarder e surfisti sfidare le onde degli oceani e i venti della costa. Questa è anche la capitale hawaiana delle tartarughe marine verdi minacciate di Maui, con tartarughe di 200 chili che si nutrono lungo la costa e si crogiolano sulla spiaggia tutto il giorno.

Non fornire il vostro alloggio si tradurrà in un pick-up predefinito / luogo di incontro al Ma'alaea Park and Ride.

What a beautiful part of the world! So much to see. Not enough time. Eli did an amazing job sharing his knowledge of the Island and its culture & beauty. Can’t wait to take the full tour next time🌺
You have an opportunity to jump in the water at two of the waterfalls so wear your suit and bring a towel.
The halfway to Hana was perfect. We saw many beautiful waterfalls, eucalyptus trees, bamboo trees, and enjoyed some Hawaiian banana bread. We also stopped at a beach and saw over 40 turtles. Watched the surfers in the ocean enjoying the day. It was a wonderful experience.
We had a. Amazing trip with Tristan. He was truly a pleasure to guide us on the 1/2 road to Hana! He took time to explain everything and shared personal experiences growing up in Hawaii. We would take this tour again! Thank you!
Great trip highly recommend. Our guide Eli was just wonderful. From the time we got picked up he gave us info on the various towns we passed thru and the history. He was very knowledgeable of all the vegetation in the area and pointed out great views along the way. Small group very comfortable van and skilled driver.
Very comfortable touring van and Eli was a great guide— friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing views of the ocean alternating with numerous inland waterfalls. It was a lot of riding on twisty, mountainous roads, so if you’re inclined to car sickness be forewarned. But definitely better than trying to navigate that route ourselves in a rental car. We felt safe with Eli at the wheel and he knew all the roadside spots for the best beauty shots. It was a fun day, we got great photos and we really learned a lot!
Eli was a great guide. He shared lots of great stories ( both personal and historical) and was a great driver, too! The bus was super clean and very nice. It seats 12 very comfortably. The agenda may have been a bit ambitious, though. Eli was careful to get us back on time for those with dinner activities. I understand that this activity was “Hana Lite”. However, I would have traded 40 minutes at the taco stand for a chance to walk in the waterfalls instead of just taking pictures. Overall, still a nice day.
Our tour guide Eli was great!! Very knowledgeable and very patient. Can tell he loves what he does. If I was to ever come again… if it were possible.. I would ask for him.
Eli was great! Very safe driver. Made sure we had beverages to drink. Very informative. Only downfall for this tour is that you can’t really stop to take pictures on the “half road” to Hana and you only get 20 minutes to swim in the falls—half of that time is used to change in the bathroom. So I didn’t go into the water. Other than that I felt we rushed back because we had to get anther couple back to their destination in time. The stop we made by the rocks to look at the ocean was beyond beautiful! But that was the only highlight. I think next time I’d rather pay for a private tour or do the regular road to Hana tour for more time.
Our guide was very nice; however, we were advised before the trip to bring water shoes because we’d be visiting a waterfall, but during the tour, our guide informed us that the halfway trip doesn’t include that stop. My feet never touched any water, just wish they had been honest in email so we could set expectations with our family/pack less.

However, weather, road access, or safety considerations can occasionally make that stop unavailable on a given day.
