In mezza giornata visiterete la chiesa in stile barocco, esplorerete le grotte di Punkva e l'abisso di Macocha e, se rimane del tempo, assaggerete i piatti tradizionali cechi. Le grotte di Punkva sono una delle cinque grandi grotte del Carso moravo vicino a BRNO nella Repubblica Ceca che sono aperte al pubblico tutto l'anno. Parte del tour delle grotte è a piedi e la seconda parte è in barca elettrica che lo rende unico. Quando ci incontreremo ti fornirò un file AUDIO (via Whats Up) in Inglese che descrive la visita guidata poiché farai parte di una visita guidata in ceco. Il tour è sicuro, illuminato e quindi non c'è bisogno di preoccuparsi di alcuna difficoltà.

Godetevi la famosa gita di mezza giornata alle Grotte di Punkva e all'Abisso di Macocha, che si trovano a circa 33 km a nord-est di BRNO. Combina un po' di architettura nel piccolo villaggio di Křtiny con una bella chiesa barocca. Il villaggio si trova al confine della riserva naturale del Carso Moravo. È un piccolissimo villaggio con un'ENORME chiesa barocca. È davvero scioccante quando entri nel villaggio e vedi questo gigantesco luogo di pellegrinaggio barocco, la Chiesa della Beata Vergine Maria, e altri edifici che compongono questo monastero premostratense, che dominano positivamente il paesaggio. Capisci subito perché viene chiamata la "perla della Moravia". Sotto la chiesa c'è anche un ossario con dodici teschi su cui è dipinta la lettera "T".
Poi visitiamo il Carso moravo pieno di grotte, visitiamo l'abisso di Macocha, la grotta Punkva, (APERTA TUTTO L'ANNO) dove ti unirai a una visita guidata di un'ora in ceco (puoi scaricare la traduzione Inglese all'ingresso delle grotte). Assicurati di portare vestiti caldi poiché la temperatura tutto l'anno è più di 6 C. Alla fine del tour c'è una bella sorpresa per voi, ma non ve lo dico. Coloro che godono di facile 20 minuti a piedi possono tornare a piedi al parcheggio principale.

Helena was a great host. Very friendly and kind. Knows a lot about the area and was very flexible. I brought my dad to Europe to have surgery so I was travelling by myself while not at the hospital. I really enjoyed having someone to spend time with and tell me about the area.

Helen was our tour guide. I can't say enough about how fantastic she was. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the caves. She ensured we had all our needs met and questions answered. I would book any tour with Helen again! We had a delightful traditional lunch and she gave us a ride to another place and included history/info continuously as we went. One of my favorite tours of this trip.

Visiting the Punkva Caves and Macocha Abyss near BRNO, the Czech is almost a MUST see place and these caves are open all year round. Dress well since the overall year temperature is plus 6 C. You can book this trip with Helena Svedova from BRNOguide

Hela was an amazing host, she is very knowledgeable about Brno and the Czech Republic at large, relaying interesting facts along the entire trip. Every part of this tour was fantastic. The trip through the mountains was beautiful and a welcome break from the city. On the way up to the abyss, Helena, the guide through most of the tour, was incredibly nice and told us many interesting details about the area and its history. We also stopped at a really impressive church hidden in a sleepy village and where she let us roam around and take pictures. The abyss and cave were beautiful and the boat ride was a really fun way to explore even more of the cave. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Brno.

The best part of the tour was actually the experience with the guide Helen. She is very personable and knowledgeable of the area. She fitted the tour to my needs and made the whole experience one I will definitely remember. The caves are beautiful and I highly recommend visiting them, but the additional information provided by Helen made the entire tour worth all the time spent. Also her English is impeccable.
