Ti portiamo alla Fuegian Southern Railway. 7 chilometri è il percorso totale della leggenda che non si lasciò morire "Il treno dei prigionieri". Originariamente il percorso era dalla prigione nel centro della città di Ushuaia. Solo i detenuti autorizzati a lasciare la prigione erano quelli premiati per il loro buon comportamento per svolgere lavori forzati. Andavano a cercare legna da ardere per riscaldare la prigione della nascente città di Ushuaia che cresceva accanto ad essa. Originariamente veniva trasportato con catene alle gambe e schiena contro schiena in precari vagoni merci. Attualmente la partenza è dalla stazione “Fine del Mondo”, per mezzo di una replica del “Treno dei prigionieri”. I visitatori percorrono lo stesso percorso che decenni fa facevano i carcerati per rifornire il paese di legna da ardere. Oggi i vagoni sono riscaldati, moderni e vetrati per non perdere la migliore visuale del percorso. Il treno ha ripreso le sue attività nel 1994 per scopi puramente turistici.
Uno dei luoghi turistici iconici della Terra del Fuoco dove si trova il cartello che indica che siamo arrivati alla fine del percorso panamericano.
Vi invitiamo a raggiungere la vera Fine del Mondo per provare l'emozione di trovarsi in un luogo unico e magico. Tutti i viaggiatori che arrivano a Ushuaia, non possono partire senza conoscere la fine della rotta panamericana che inizia in Alaska e dopo oltre 15mila chilometri termina all'interno del Parco Nazionale della Terra del Fuoco. Questo è il posto giusto per scattare una foto che testimonia che le persone sono davvero arrivate alla fine del mondo. Ulteriore. La mattina intorno alle 08:30 verremo a prendervi in hotel, da dove andremo al Parco Nazionale della Terra del Fuoco, che si trova a 12 km dal centro della città di Ushuaia. Prima di entrare nel Parco Nazionale, ci fermeremo alla stazione ferroviaria End of the World dove i passeggeri che lo desiderano possono scegliere di prendere il mitico treno (circa 60 minuti di viaggio) che termina all'interno del Parco Nazionale. Chi non effettua il viaggio in treno può godersi una piccola passeggiata nella foresta fuegiana (in inverno la piccola passeggiata potrebbe essere interrotta in base alle condizioni meteorologiche).

Il giorno prima dell’escursione vi contatteremo via wahtsapp per comunicarvi l’orario esatto di prelievo. Questa escursione è disponibile per i passeggeri delle navi da crociera, con prelievo alle 7:30 e ritorno alle 13:30. (non aeroporto di prelievo)

The tour was very worth it mainly because we were armored with a snowy morning that left the landscape much more exciting. This is a trip that is well worth it. Half time, picturesque and we still get to see the beauties of Tierra del Fuego Park. Super recommend the agency. We made 3 tours c them, being one of them this trenzinho. The guide Ariel was very attentive and gave several interesting explanations.

The staff of the company are friendly, attentive and very professional. From the airport pickup with Christian and the return to it with Marcelo, impeccable. The Parks and Train tour was excellent. The journey with Carlos and Ariel explaining every detail, first. Ariel took pains to answer all the questions and point out the points of interest. Recommended!!!

From the time Marietta met us on the berth as we came off the cruise ship we had a great trip. She was so knowledgable, passionate and informative about the region and its people, it made for a very nice day out. It did help that her English was very good. From the ship we were bused to the End of the World train station, where we had a few minutes to browse the souvenir shops before leaving Marietta and boarding for our train journey. After a fun short train journey into Tierra del Fuego park, which included a stop to enjoy the views, we were met by Marietta to explore the park. The bus journey around the park included several stops, where we were able to get out on foot and be educated in the history of the people and the land. Marietta was even kind enough to stop at the southernmost rugby club in the world for me to take a few photos and to recommend an excellent cafe back in Ushuaia. :-)

Excellent!!! Our guide Ariel a genius! Super attentive and fun! Besides excellent professional as he was telling us the necessary information about each place (in Spanish and English). Very timely to meet us at the Hotel. Chauffeurs re good vibe! I would definitely choose them again!
