Francisco was an absolutely incredible tour guide! He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, kind, entertaining and funny. Overall he just has this amazing vibrant personality that made our day so joyful and relaxed, he really looked after us. I booked this half day tour because I really wanted to visit Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. It was the perfect amount of time to explore the grounds, learn the history of the area and see the sights. We even had time to walk in the village and try some of the local pastries. The highlight of the tour for me was descending the initiation well at Quinta da Regaleira, that was such a magical experience that I shall never forget. I would go back in a heartbeat! Francisco even went a step further after our tour had ended to recommend local restaurants, shops, nightlife depending on where people from the group were staying. This was my first time booking a tour on Get Your Guide and I would definitely do so again in the future. Thank you Francisco for everything, you were an incredible guide and I had such a magical day! ✨✨✨
Perfect amount of time and information. It was great to have a local guide. We chose a shorter tour and were glad we did. Four hours was plenty and gave us a good understanding of Sintra without feeling overly long.
Bart was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us amazing tidbits about the places we visited. Having previously visited these places without a guide, I found my visit with Bart much more interesting and informative. I visited with my sister, and we were in a small tour group. The tour was roughly 4 hours long. We had not noticed in the tour description that admission fees to the 2 palaces were an extra fee from the tour, so perhaps this could be more clearly advertised on the tour description
We absolutely loved our afternoon in Sintra with Francisco (« Chico ») as our guide. We highly recommend this guided tour to anyone wanting to visit Sintra without it being an exhausting full day trip. Francisco brought the Pena and Regaleira palaces to life with his historical explanations and anecdotes of his personal experiences, having himself grown up in Sintra. He was happy to answer our many questions and give us advice about the rest of our trip in Portugal. An exceptional guide, truly!
5 Star Quality! Bart maximized our tour time by guiding us to the best sites to see-and take the best pictures! He also provided enough time at each stop to appreciate and enjoy what we were seeing. His explanations and insights were terrific as well. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience. It was helpful having a guide through the palaces and hearing all about them. Chico was a great guide, full of information, and a fun time guiding us around! Would do this again in Sintra.

Bart was amazing! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to Pena Palace and Quinta de Regaleira. These are beautiful sights to experience! We drove up the mountain and walked no longer than 8 minutes to the Palace! We got to skip the line, which was awesome on such a busy day. We were also able to explore the center of town on our own for a little bit.
Luis was great and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to tailor the experience to exactly what we needed it with our two kids. A lot of fun and a great way to learn more about Lisbon.
