Our Tour Guide Chong was brilliant. The overall experience was really good. And I would highly recommend to anyone looking to book the floating market
This tour is not what is advertised and did not fulfill the itinerary in anyway . We were on a packed small bus of 14 even though it states private tour of no more than 10. The guide on the tour didn't explain that we were not going to see a floating village as it was the dry season he walked us to where the boats were on the lake and sat on his phone for the journey . The boat was extremely load due to the engine and it stopped several times when it cut out . The Cambodian driver had to get out into the lake and try to.move us from the sandbanks . At no point did the guide called RA advise about anything . The boat took us to a floating boat that sold drinks and he said was a crocodile farm ...it had 3 small crocodiles kept in a very small wooden area at the back of the boat . These were being bred to kill and sell on the boat . When we asked what else we were seeing he said nothing we were shocked as the description of the trip is not what we received . The guide then said we are very lucky human beings as we have the money to travel and see things in his country and we should be grateful . This is not what I expected and I was very cross along with the rest of the party at the lack of content on the trip and the guides opinions . I would like to raise this as a complaint .
