Half-Day Algarve Jeep Safari

TO ESCAPE!!!!!!!! False excursion and unprofessionalism of the organization. We booked an excursion with a FRENCH GUIDE. In the end, the guide did not speak a single word of French. We were switched to another organism without even being notified beforehand by Xtremo Ambiante despite several emails a few days before. Faced with a fait accompli “you either come or you are left here and maybe you will be reimbursed.” In addition, the proposed excursion with the company that took over was 10 € cheaper but no refund pro rata. Avoid for unpleasant surprises!!! Many other organizations in the area with better care and service!!!!

We had a fantastic half day trip 4 wheel driving with the wonderful Antonio. The whole experience was fun and interesting. Even though the weather was not the best, the Plan B that we followed was still excellent. One of the best days we have had on our trip.

We did the sunset tour and it was amazing! The scenery was beautiful and our tour guide Alison was very enthusiastic and friendly. He taught us a lot about the landscapes and villages. It was a great experience and we definitely recommend it :)

We went traveling with the jeeps for a half day with our company. It was a lovely trip and the service from the drivers was amazing. I will definitely recommend this to all of my friends. The stops were amazing.

An excellent half day jeep safari tour. Driving off road into the beautiful algarve countryside with stunning views,our driver was very informative and made the trip brilliant. Would highly recommend.

We actually did a full day , rather than half day and glad we did . The weather was bit disappointing, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the safari. It was lovely to see parts of Portugal we wouldn’t see and what beautiful views they were . The lunch was excellent and served in a clean , welcoming restaurant . Our guide was fantastic and had a brilliant character. From explaining all what we see to taken photos for us with our phones and making us laugh . Having a mobility disability he was a gentleman and ensured I was looked after and helped when needed it . Picked up and dropped of at our Hotel . Definitely recommend tour .

We booked a half day tour from Paderne and we were not disappointed. We have been coming here for over 10 years and wish we had done it sooner. Our guide Nuno was fantastic, full of lots of interesting facts that we had no idea about and was lovely to learn a little about the culture and history of the Algarve. We had our 7 year old with us who never became bored because Nuno made sure to add in lots of fun along the way. We collected lots of things for a school project and had an amazing time off-roading up in the mountains. Our little monster said it was 'the best day ever' so if that is not a recommendation I don't know what is! ;) Thanks Nuno for a fabulous morning, the best adventure and lots of laughs! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

Very nice and informative guide! Got to see parts of the Algarve Mountain and farm areas I would have never even thought to explore. Some interesting villages and farms...we found the half day tour to be enough with children:)

Went with my 2 teenage daughters (12 &17) on the Algarve Jeep Sunset Tour, with our guide Carlos, who picked us up from the hotel at 5.30pm We shared a jeep with a very friendly couple and all got on great. The tour itself was very enjoyable, with stops along the way where our guide explained the local plants that we encountered along the way. A significant portion of the tour was across rugged mountainous terrain. Great to see the Land Rover negotiate the various hills, rocks and dirt roads. We stopped at a local village where we visited a distillery and tasted traditional Portuguese spirits and jams. Big thanks to the host at the distillery! More rugged terrain later and we stopped at the top of a peak, where Carlos produced a bottle of champagne for us, while enjoying the sunset. The last stop was a traditional Portuguese restaurant for evening dinner (think nandos chicken, chips & salad ;-). The food was awesome! Finally we were dropped off at our hotel at around 10pm. A great evening out with some great company and stunning scenery! Huge thank you to our guide Carlos!

We were collected outside our apartment by Isabel our guide for the day. The safari was just our family and a fantastic mix of local information about the nature and traditions of the area and the thrill of driving off road. We visited villages, honey productions farms and the highest point on the mountains. We really enjoyed it.
