We had a very nice tour in German through Haifa with Evelin at the end of December. This covered both the beautiful surroundings with a view over the city, the Mediterranean and the Bahai gardens. But also the urban development and history of Haifa and its immigrants, as well as the culinary possibilities. The bottom line is an interesting, versatile and above all delicious 4-hour tour of Haifa.
Daniel was a brilliant guide, with a superb knowledge of Haifa. It's clear he has a love of this wonderful area and his enthusiasm to tell us about the history and people kept us entertained throughout the 6 hours that we spent together. He shared beautiful stories and experiences with us, which added humour and emotion to the tour. Daniel was very easy to communicate with, right from the start of our interaction, making it easy to customise our day. He planned the culinary part of the tour perfectly and we were definitely not left hungry! Highly recommended for travellers of all ages!
An excellent guide with extensive, enriching and expanding knowledge, very caring and very important to him that everyone would enjoy. Warmly recommend the culinary route in Wadi Nisans Haifa. I recommend the guide Daniel Seglov with the yellow hat... 👌👌👌🫶
Daniel is a talented, interesting, funny, and knowledgeable guide. He organized a birthday trip for us in Wadi Nisnas in Haifa, it was perfect. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our tour of Haifa, particularly the historical background of the German road, port and some of the religions based there. It was rather informative and our tour-guide Evelin was engaging and very pleasant.
Daniel was kind enough to customize our tour. He picked us up at the Port of Haifa after our cruise (Note, if you have luggage, drivers are not allowed to come to the ship. We had to take a port shuttle bus to another area of the port), he showed us around Haifa and Caesarea before bringing us to our hotel in Tel Aviv. It was a long day, but Daniel was energetic the entire time as he shared his extensive knowledge of Israel and brought stories to life with his variety of hats! He was well prepared with binders of photos that supplemented the stories he told about each location. When we got hungry, he brought us to a market in Haifa where he often does food tours, and we ate at an authentic, homestyle market "buffet". He also introduced us to Knafeh, a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with spun pastry. Daniel truly made our Israeli tour a fun (and tasty!) experience!!
I went with two of my best friends to the tour in Haifa with Daniel and his Yellow hat. It was a great experience with lots of great stories, wonderful sites, great people and tasty food. I highly recommend Daniel guided tours.
We did a private tour with Daniel of both Caesarea and Haifa. Daniel is extremely fun guide. He makes the experience of touring come alive with his love of hats. He can pull a different one for any occasion. In Caesarea we saw ruins of once mighty port and Daniel walked us through what it would have looked like in its heyday. In Haifa we had the opportunity to taste the various cuisines of Israel from falafel to humus freshly made from scratch to order. The food was nothing we’ve ever tasted in the states. Daniel interweaves his knowledge of history, archaeological sites, famous landmarks with his personal story of immigration. This makes the tour feel that much more personal. We enjoyed the tour very much and recommend Daniel for any group that wants to tour Israel.
Daniel, met us on the walkway from immigration to the exit. You cannot miss him! He had an excellent and fun 5 min opening talk which put us all at ease. We docked at mid day and due to severe delays with the Israeli immigration process we only had 10 minutes at the top of the Bahai gardens, but they were magnificent. His English is very good and his talks are informative and thought provoking in relation to Israel and the Middle East.
Daniel is knowledgeable funny and a great story teller. We all enjoyed the tour in Haifa, kids and adults. Most recomended!
