Our tour guide was wonderful - did a great job of giving us the highlights and guiding us thru the Guiness Storehouse (which would have been maddeningly overwhelming otherwise) and taking us on a cocktail mixing / tasting class at Roe and Co. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed meeting the other attendees and having time to chat.
It was definitely fun! The fact that the meeting point was not IN the pub, but across the street, was printed too small; but we figured it out in time. Our guide Alan was great! He told us many interesting things in a very entertaining way and took us with great dedication through the Storehouse, past the Brazen Head, and to the Jameson Distillery. And with the crowds of people, we were actually very glad not to have to wait in line. Overall not exactly cheap, but a recommended daily program!

Simon was awesome, made the whole trip a lovely experience. Great to get through the crowds at the Storehouse. VIP speed. Simon looked after the whole thing and got us to where we needed to be. The distillery tour was really good and having a go at making a cocktail was really fun. Great staff and well worth the visit. The guide was very professional and was very attentive at all times, what I didn't like were two things: the first was that everything was very fast at the Guinness, I would have liked to spend more time and the second is that they didn't let two of my children into the whiskey factory because they were minors, in any case, they shouldn't have let me purchase this tour from the beginning and thus not leave two of my children waiting for an hour sitting while we did the tour. That part I did see as wrong on your part as tour operators

My wife and I had an amazing time in Ireland and the UK using TripAdvisor to book various tours during our 3 week long trip this summer. This was our last tour before heading home, and I must say that it was a bit of a let down. Our tour guide Kate from Australia was enthusiastic and wonderful, and we really enjoyed having her as our friendly and very personable tour guide. Thanks Kate for making us feel at home and being a professional photographer at various tour stops from Jameson to Guinness. Also Kate did an amazing job as a tour guide, the tour itself, although it was exactly as advertised, was a bit underwhelming. For this tour to be more tourist friendly, it would be nice to schedule stops along the 2km walk from Jameson to Guinness to provide sit down experience for the guests as well as snacks that can be purchased or increase your booking fees to accommodate for the extras. My wife and I walk 10 to 16 miles per day exploring the cities that we visit, so walking 2km was not an issue. However, stopping and standing for a while listening to Kate speak on busy streets wasn't ideal for most guests (20 people). It was a lovely tour but there is some room for improvement.
