Guinness - Good not Great

It’s so automated / it’s well done, but not really worth the entry fee, in my opinion.(half maybe) Best was the third floor, home on the trove of advertising over the years. Best part was the performance by a harpist, whose playing was magnificent.

Great Experience in Dublin

Really enjoyed visiting the Guinness Storehouse. The exhibits were interesting and well presented, and I liked learning more about the history behind Guinness. The highlight for me was definitely the Gravity Bar and the views across Dublin. It can get quite busy, but overall it was a fun experience and definitely worth seeing while in Dublin.

Guinness Storehouse — A Great Experience, But Not Quite What I Expected

My family and I decided to end our Ireland trip with the Guinness Storehouse experience, and overall, I’m glad we did it. Being on the Guinness grounds was really cool. The brewery has been here since the 1700s, and the grounds are enormous. The building where the Storehouse experience takes place was once an old fermentation building, which adds a lot of history and character to the experience. That being said, I have to admit the actual tour wasn’t quite what I expected. It’s a self-guided experience, which is perfectly fine, but I was hoping for something a little more personal and interactive. At times, it felt more like a very polished commercial attraction than a traditional brewery tour. There is also a very large merchandise store, which adds to that feeling. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy walking through the Storehouse. There is still an incredible amount of Guinness history to see and learn about, and the building itself is fascinating. And, of course, the highlight for many people is the top floor, where you can enjoy a pint of Guinness while taking in the views of Dublin. I have to say, though, that pint was something special. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I’ve ever had—and probably ever will have! Earlier in our trip, we also did the Smithwick’s Brewery experience in Kilkenny, at the original Smithwick’s brewery. Personally, I enjoyed that experience more. It was smaller, more intimate, and felt much more personal. The Guinness Storehouse is definitely worth visiting, especially if you’re a Guinness fan or interested in the history of the brand. Just go in knowing that it’s more of a large-scale, self-guided experience than a traditional brewery tour. And whatever you think of the tour, make sure you have that pint at the top. 🍺🇮🇪

Guinness experience

Amazing experience, the atmosphere was brilliant, we were lucky enough to catch the band and Irish dancing in one of the bars, I would have personally paid for this! But it’s all in the experience, I would recommend anyone to visit, the staff were fantastic and very informative 👍🏻

Guiness

My wife and I had a really great time here at the storehouse. Before walking around we decided to have a meal at one of the restaurants. We both tried the Guinness pie as well as a pint of Guinness. The pie was so good. Then it was off to walk around and explore the storehouse. This was so much fun and we both had a really great time. Educational and fun.

Guinness Storehouse a must visit

Great couple of hours out, interactive and informative walk round tour. I am not a drinker but still got a soft drink at the end. Busy but can still walk round freely. Definitely book before you go as no walk ins on the day as full. A must for a visit to Dublin drinker or no drinker it’s great

Too crowded!

If you are in Dublin you have to taste Guiness. We booked self guide tour -walk through 7 stores with a glass of beer on the top. Book ahead of time. Be ready for huge crowds, very commercialized experience. Trying to get a picture on the 7th floor us almost impossible. However we can say we have been there.
