Il tour guidato fra le saline e il museo del sale è qualcosa di unico presente nella provincia di trapani. Si tratta di una tappa "obbligatoria" sia che siate in vacanza in zona o che vogliate trascorrere una giornata in mezzo alla natura, a toccare con il mare ed immersi nella storia del sale. A fine del tour sarà possibile inoltre effettuare un aperitivo con una vista mozzafiato e/o cenare presso il ristorante.

Nella prima parte del tour si avrà la possibilità di fare una passeggiata rilassante, scoprendo le infinite sfumature di bianco che caratterizzano il sale, per non parlare del blu del mare, del grigio argilla e del rosa delle vasche. Questo percorso segue il perimetro della salina fino ad arrivare sugli argini delle vasche salanti dove l’acqua fa da specchio al cielo. Le saline Culcasi attraverso questo tour, offrono un’esperienza adatta a tutte le fasce d’età all’interno della riserva del WWF, tra piante e uccelli protetti, potrete così scorgere il sale che si forma nelle vasche raccogliendolo con le vostre mani e seguendo passo dopo passo tutto il percorso che trasforma l’acqua di mare nel sale che tutti conoscono.
La seconda parte del tour è incentrata sulla visita guidata del museo del sale e dell’antico mulino del 1400, dove ci si potrà realmente lasciar coinvolgere dalla storia del sale, ripercorrendo non solo il faticoso lavoro della salina, ma soprattutto, la storia della famiglia che la gestisce da generazioni. Il museo è posto all’interno di un antico baglio ed è inserito all’interno della guida ufficiale dell’Unione Europea. E’ una forte testimonianza del connubio che lega sale e mare da sempre.

This was a nice and relaxing tour, a 40 minute drive from Marsala with a lot of history, hands on experiences and tastings. We arrived early and were accommodated to start the tour inside the museum instead of outside. A member of our group wasn’t feeling well and Agnes offered something to eat to help. The museum tour was very informative with pictures, tools and equipment used back in the day. Explanations of the process were explained thoroughly. Once completed, the tour continued outside near the different salt pans. An enclosed room outside “salt lab” allowed for touching and sampling the salt and body scrub products. Afterwards, you take an approximate 20 minute walk around the salt pans where information that was previously explained is shown in person. At the end of the tour, you’re able to stop at the restaurant on site and have a nice lunch with beautiful views. Highly recommended with highly knowledgeable staff.
A very positive experience, thanks also to the prepared, attentive, and friendly staff. We visited the salt pans at sunset, and everything was perfect. I recommend booking the guided tour of the salt pans + salt museum.

A nice interesting different experience. Out of the way and off the beaten path but educational and a nice experience to see where my salt can come from. Also maybe a jar or 2 found there way into a suit case!!

It was a memorable tour, full of detailed and professional information, and full of kindness. The sunset view was so breathtaking that I don't regret the one-hour trip at all.
