“FURUSATO Cycling” è un nuovo progetto di tour pensato per farti vivere appieno la “REAL HAGI”. Godetevi un tour guidato in bicicletta attraverso splendidi paesaggi di campagna, sentire lo stile di vita locale e visitare luoghi speciali di solito non aperti ai visitatori. Il nostro primo tour si concentra sul sake Giapponese. Segui il processo di produzione del sake Hagi prodotto localmente, comprese le visite alle risaie, alle aree delle fonti d'acqua, a un birrificio locale di sake e a un impianto di lucidatura del riso. ・Lunghezza del percorso: circa 11 km ・Durata del tour : 3 ore e 30 minuti ・Marca della bici: Giant ・Dotato di un parafango posteriore, sacchetto e portabevande Accesso al luogo del tour Il tour inizia a circa 30 minuti di auto dal centro di Hagi. Spiegheremo il riso per sake usando le lavagne a fogli mobili mentre osserviamo le risaie dove viene coltivato il riso per sake da una piccola collina. Il contenuto che solletica la curiosità intellettuale degli amanti del sake aumenterà il tuo amore per il bene.
【Fabbrica di lucidatura del riso al sake】 Il processo di "lucidatura" viene eseguito prima che il riso per il sake effettivamente raccolto venga trasportato al birrificio del sake. Il gusto del sake sarà diverso con un solo smalto. In questa fabbrica, pur vedendo effettivamente la macchina che "lucida" il riso per sake, ci avvicineremo al gusto del sake che cambia con la lucidatura.
Unrinji è comunemente noto come "Tempio del gatto" ed è pieno di statuette legate ai gatti. Da non perdere il gatto intagliato in legno realizzato con una motosega. Anche se non ti piacciono i gatti, sarai sicuramente curioso!

【Yachiyo Sake Brewery】 Un birrificio di sake in cui le foreste femminili svolgono un ruolo attivo. Perseguire un nuovo marchio Yachiyo valorizzando il vecchio metodo di produzione. Si dice che sia il cuore dei birrifici di sake e, a seconda del birrificio, si può facilmente vedere il "Muro", assaggiare l '"acqua preparata" utilizzata per la preparazione e preparare la degustazione delle fecce di sake. 0 did not go because it was too far from the town and would cost too much to get there by Taxi so we forfeited the registration fee.

The guided bicycle tour with Akiyama-San “aki” was awesome!! Aki is very knowledgeable in how sake is made and history of the cat temple and is fluent in Japanese and English. The countryside of Hagi is beautiful and there were hardly any cars which made this tour very relaxing as i didn’t have to keep checking if cars were coming behind me. The cat , unrinji temple is unique and the wooden cat figures were carved by a chain saw. Temple is dedicated to cats and if you go on this tour you will find out why. The tour started and ended at the yachiyo shuzo brewery and the head sake master gave me a tour of her brewery and explained the involved process of the production of sake and what makes good tasting sake. Sampling was given at end of the tour; I’m not a sake drinker but this sake tasted so good that I bought several bottles to take home as gifts but I may end up keeping them all!! You will not be disappointed in this tour.
Aki-san from furusato cycling was a fantastic, knowledgeable and fun guide. He was able to adjust the tour to my personal interests and preferences which made it a very valuable experience. The tour was well paced with lots of points of interest, and I was given a very good bike made it easy and fun to ride. I was able to engage directly with Hagi locals involved in the Sake brewing and ask questions directly, and get an understanding of how the local community is an important part of Sake. I am glad I decided to do the tour and it became one of the high points of my trip to Japan. I recommend this tour to anyone interested in where Sake comes from.
