Kapali Carsi è uno dei mercati coperti più grandi e antichi del mondo, con più di 58 strade coperte e oltre 1.200 negozi. Inaugurato nel 1461, è ben noto per i suoi negozi di gioielli, ceramiche, spezie e tappeti. Molte delle bancarelle del bazar sono raggruppate per tipo di merce, con aree speciali per cappotti in pelle, gioielli d'oro e simili. Il bazar contiene due bedestens (strutture in muratura a cupola costruite per lo stoccaggio e la custodia), il primo dei quali fu costruito tra il 1455 e il 1461 per ordine del sultano Mehmed il Conquistatore.Il Gran Bazar è composto da 12 edifici principali e ha 22 porte.
Moschea Blu (Moschea di Sultanahmet - Camii) costruita durante il regno del sultano Ahmet I durante il 1609-1616. È l'unica moschea in Turchia con sei minareti. Grazie alle sue magnifiche piastrelle Iznik tinte a mano in blu, verde e bianco, è stata chiamata dagli europei la "Moschea Blu". La cupola centrale è alta 43 m e ha un diametro di 33,4 m; vanta anche 260 finestre.
Un mercato storico dove si possono trovare spezie, cibo locale, souvenir.
Cattedrale bizantina di 1.400 anni che ospita mosaici, cimeli e lavori in ferro. Hagia Sophia è stata, per quasi mille anni, il più grande spazio chiuso del mondo ed è ancora considerata uno dei monumenti architettonici più importanti del mondo. È una delle attrazioni più popolari della Turchia, attratta dallo spettacolo puro delle sue dimensioni, architettura, mosaici e arte. Fu costruito durante il regno dell'imperatore bizantino Giustiniano nel VI secolo d.C. Recentemente è stato riconvertito in moschea.

Our guide was exceptional: professional, likeable and with an incredible ability to involve us. It was not limited to classic historical facts, but offered us an authentic insight into the social reality of the city and the lives of its inhabitants. Even if we had booked only guide Emre and came with the car and took us from our hotel to the old town and since it rained his umbrellas were welcome.

Very well organized and interesting tour. Picked us up from the cruise port on time and immediately visited the most famous sites of Istanbul. The tour guide had all of our tickets in advance, so we went straight to the front of the line. I definitely recommend this tour!
