Unisciti a noi per un tour di un giorno alla scoperta del profondo sud della Tasmania, dove le mele sono croccanti, il salmone fresco e gli alberi secolari. Inizia a Huonville con un caffè da asporto e un giro panoramico lungo il fiume Huon, scoprendo i frutteti di mele della regione, il sidro artigianale, il vino e la produzione di salmone. Poi, trascorri due ore al Tahune Airwalk. Passeggia a 50 metri di altezza nella volta degli alberi, attraversa ponti sospesi sul fiume Huon o goditi una tranquilla passeggiata lungo la riva del fiume tra gli antichi pini Huon. Dopo pranzo, esplora la più grande grotta dolomitica dell'Australia alle Hastings Caves. Il tuo tour guidato svelerà formazioni intricate e la storia geologica della regione. La nostra prima tappa è Huonville, dove avrai la possibilità di prendere un caffè da asporto e fare scorta di tutto l'essenziale per la giornata. Siediti, rilassati e goditi il viaggio panoramico lungo lo splendido fiume Huon. Mentre sorseggi il tuo caffè, sentirai storie sul perché questa zona è famosa per i suoi frutteti di mele, i produttori di sidro artigianale, i produttori di vino boutique e la produzione di salmone.
Poi, arriviamo al Tahune Airwalk, dove avrai due ore gloriose per esplorare questa spettacolare regione. Scegli una o tutte e tre le passeggiate offerte. Inizia con il famoso Airwalk, una passeggiata di 600 metri a 50 metri di altezza nella volta degli alberi tra le piante da fiore più alte del mondo, gli alberi di eucalipto. Ti senti avventuroso? Affronta lo Swinging Bridges Track, una gita di 3,4 chilometri in cui attraverserai due ponti sospesi sul fiume Huon, il primo (lungo 100 m) e il Picton Swinging Bridge (lungo 64 m). In alternativa, puoi rimanere a terra e goderti la tranquillità di passeggiare lungo la riva del fiume tra antichi pini Huon, mescolandoti ad alberi che hanno 2.500 anni. Dopo pranzo, è il momento di avventurarsi più a sud verso le magiche Hastings Caves, dove rimarrai meravigliato dalle meraviglie sotterranee della più grande grotta dolomitica dell'Australia. Il tuo biglietto d'ingresso (incluso) ti garantisce un tour guidato attraverso questo affascinante sistema di grotte, condotto da una guida esperta e appassionata. Qui puoi ammirare le intricate formazioni e conoscere la storia geologica della zona. We had Dave. He was really nice even when we held up the group he didn't mind. He was knowledgeable and friendly and the tour was great. The Tahune airwalk was really cool
Hi, THe day was quite good, but I felt maybe too much time was taken up with driving. Both the Cave experience and Skywalk were good. But I presume they were possibly in roughly same area. I was dissappointed we didn't have a food stop during the day. WE just had the chance to get food in Huonville, and that was it. I presume the tasting was the Apple pie in Cider stop. I think our guide for the day wasn't too experienced.
A great day of exploring nature! Skye was very friendly and knew her stuff about nature and the places we visited.

I love the trips, our driver is very informative. The tahune walk and hasting cave are fascinating. And before we go back to hobart, we stop by to eat a very delicious apple pie and ice cream

Small group tour, friendly guide and advised clearly how long at each stop. Great variety of an activity and sights to see. Cave walk was a highlight and very easy steps and railing.

Very long day, but worth the lovely sights and knowledge gained from the great tour guide JODIE. Hastings Caves were amazing, the Tahune Airwalk was great also. Lots of driving time for this tour but we had a few little stops to break up the trip, which was great. JODIE was knowledgeable and very down to earth - a real credit to Tassie Tours. If you are looking for a great day out I highly recommend this tour.Be sure to wear layers, it’s cold in the cave. You also need to be willing and able to climb up and down stairs, there are a lot in the cave but also to get to the top of the airwalk.

Quite a long day and weather can change quickly. Hastings Cave always around 10 degrees C no matter how hot outside so pays to carry a jacket oy jumper. Also steps going up and down ( as you have to retrace) are quite steep Sturdy Walking shoes recommended. Plenty of short stops throughout the tour. Tahunne Airwalk and swing bridges. Require sturdy shoes and a good head for heights. The roads throughout the tour very winding in places if you are prone to motion sickness remember to take your "Kwells" or similar medication. The Apple Pie and cream at Franks Cider Farm stop was delicious and included in tour price. The cider sampling good too ( at your own cost).
