La prima e principale tappa della gita di mezza giornata sarà la grotta di Postojna. La visita guidata nella grotta comprende passeggiate e anche la guida con un treno sotterraneo attraverso gallerie, passaggi e sale enormi. Nella grande sala da concerto, potrai vedere i pesci umani all'interno del grande acquario essere gli animali da caverna più famosi al mondo. Tieni presente che la temperatura nella caverna è costante e indipendentemente dalla stagione, è sempre intorno ai 10 ° C. Dovresti vestirti di conseguenza.
Nel villaggio di Prejama, arroccato sotto un arco naturale a 123 metri sulla roccia, si trova il castello di Predjama. È elencato sotto il detentore del record mondiale del Guinness per il castello più grande della grotta, dandogli una meritata reputazione di essere praticamente inespugnabile. Il castello di Predjama fu costruito in stile gotico dal Patriarca di Aquileia nel XIII secolo e menzionato per la prima volta nel record storico nell'anno 1274.

Magnificent cave tour very much enjoyed it in every aspects. Postojna cave is beyond imagination for what nature created these impressive pieces of arts. I wish that everyone able to visit Postojna to do it today before tomorrow.

This trip was very well done, the cave was very well done with the tram through part of cave, tour guide was very knowledgeable. The castle was also done well with the portable audio guides, overall very happy ‼️

We went to the castle and the cave system, which was great. The castle was really interesting, and it was crazy to imagine people building it back in the day. You can snap some real good pictures there. The cave system was unbelievable, definitely worth seeing when you're in Slovenia. I've never seen anything like it, it was like going to another planet. The trip, in its entirety was fantastic, we were sorry to leave but will be back in the future. I'd also like to mention Anna the lady that drove us from Bled, 2 hours to the castle and cave system. She was absolutely wonderful, we can't say enough good things about this lady. She was polite, welcoming and very friendly, and we talked and laughed with her the entire journey. In fact, she was so memorable and nice to be around that we are planning to book on her skiing project in the future, just to see her again. Anna we loved you hope to see you again soon, love Ewan and Olga (the engaged couple) xxx
Despite being late due to traffic Anna managed to get our day back on track and took got us to the castle/cave in good time. The dual ticket which seems a bit pricey at first €38 each it is actually really good value to see the vast cave and unique castle. Overall it was a really good day.
The cave and the castle are great! The tour before, between and after the two however is not. Our guide was a friendly guy, but besides being the driver there was little for him to do. There was a guided tour at the cave and an audio tour at the castle. So basically you’re paying for a shuttle that takes you from Ljubljana or Bled to the caves, castle and back... the bus will get you there much cheaper.
