My friend and I hadn’t seen each other in two years and this was our first excursion when we got to Grenada. First off, you have to request Deshon when booking this trip. Not only was he very informative about the history of the island of Grenada (which I expected) but he is also an excellent listener. I mentioned to my friend how much I wanted a coconut and he took note of my love for the fruit trees and introduced me to some of the island’s beautiful nutmeg, rainbow and banana trees (as well as some of the spices) to name a few while even offering us a chance to take pictures with a monkey or shop at the stores nearby. He took photos of my friend and I at the beautiful waterfall where we enjoyed a refreshing swim and took in the timeless landscape. We were educated on the different types of rum available as we entered a distillery. We also enjoyed more education on cocoa pods, cocoa nibs, cocoa butter, fermentation and the numerous health benefits of consuming quality chocolate that has not been overly processed and how to maintain the benefits of it. I learned a lot but the charm, kind gestures, humor and education from DeShon really made our short time in Grenada such a memorable one for me and my friend during our excursion. We were so grateful for the great start we had to our trip and the good company we had to keep it while driving us safely and with comfort from each location without making us feel rushed.

I traveled solo for my birthday and booked this tour less than 24 hours in advance. They responded and confirmed almost immediately, which was already a great sign. My tour guide Deshaun was honestly the best. This was my first private tour, and I genuinely don't think I can go back to group tours after this. We moved at our own pace the entire day, which made all the difference. He even took me to get an authentic Grenadian breakfast, which was exactly what I needed after the rum tasting. We also got to the waterfall early enough that I had the whole thing to myself and actually got to swim. The day was action-packed but never felt rushed. From the food to every stop to the personal touches that come with a private tour, everything was on point. I'm recommending Deshaun and this company to all my friends and family, and I'll definitely be booking again when I return. A true highlight of my trip.

Deshon was an excellent guide! He took us to get Caribbean patties from a local store & they were delicious! The rum tasting experience was great! They were so friendly & gave us more than 5 rums to taste. We were hoping for a detailed explanation on the rum process and a distillery tour (I guess I was wrong to assume it entailed more than tasting, my mistake). I enjoyed it nonetheless. The chocolate tasting was meh… However, she was very descriptive about the process & benefits. The demonstration was located in the back of the store, not where chocolate is actually made. Then, off to the waterfall.. again another false assumption. I thought we’d be getting in the water and having a whole experience.. nahhh. They wanted us to pay an additional $25 to see them jump into the water. Ummm. NO! We took some pics on the platform & that was it. Overall, I enjoyed the tour guide & I received some information about Grenada, but I wouldn’t do it again. I also think every place we went was strategic, to purchase from those places & they were overpriced and the products were again, meh… I would suggest booking a different tour with Deshon. H

It made our trip unforgettable and allowed us to soak in the true culture of St. George! If you are flying to ST. We experienced Rum tasting tour, the chocolate museum and Annadale falls in St George's Grenada. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Enjoyable.

Joel superseded every expectation I had. All four locations (rum, chocolate, spice and Annandale falls) were so much fun. Joel was extremely professional and always made sure we were well taken care of during the tours. I would for sure use Joel and King J taxis and tours in the future when we come back to Grenada.

Deshawn picked us up at the hotel with a smile, ready to treat us to an enjoyable adventure! We enjoyed a rum tasting which, in itself, was an experience…who knew there was chocolate rum?!?! The Chocolate factory was so interesting with an abundance of little known facts about cacao/cocoa and the intricacies of chocolate. Oh, and it was delicious and eye opening. It was eye opening to learn the many benefits of cacao/cocoa! The waterfall was beautiful and relaxing - watching people take plunges in the water was fun as well. Our comfortable van ride was made more enjoyable ice cold waters and even some beers or rum punch if we desired! DeShawn drove while teaching us some Grenada history and facts - then quizzing us later 🙃! He kept us laughing and learning the entire adventure. And don’t let him fool you, the young man can sing!!!

The 1/2 day rum, chocolate and waterfall tour was great. The rums we tasted were quite delicious. The presentation at the chocolate factory was very interesting. And watching people jump at the waterfall was entertaining. The whole experience was made even better because our tour guide, Deshawn, was fun and knowledgeable!
