Questo tour è ottimo per coloro che desiderano comprendere appieno l'arte di Gustav Klimt visitando i tre musei che espongono le sue opere più importanti. Partiamo dal Palazzo del Belvedere. Qui puoi vedere "Il bacio" e "Giuditta", i dipinti più famosi del "Periodo d'oro". "Il bacio" è uno dei punti di riferimento turistici più iconici della città e iniziamo il nostro tour qui per comprendere il contesto e le origini dell'arte di Klimt. Successivamente, andremo nella sala espositiva della Secessione per vedere l'opera più grande di Klimt, il "Fregio di Beethoven". Questa è l'unica opera di questo artista che circonda intenzionalmente completamente lo spettatore, il che significa che questa è la tua occasione per diventare tutt'uno con l'arte. La nostra terza tappa è il Museo Leopold. Qui troveremo "Morte e vita". Esamineremo questa tela in dettaglio per capire perché è stata così significativa per la sua carriera artistica. Highly educated solid formed large historian. Julia is a pleasure to get a further understanding approve Gustav Klimt was and what factors influenced his work. Music and in particular Beethoven & Wagner. She is not a museum guide, thankfully. Rather choose an educator.

We had an unforgettable experience and learned a great deal about Klimt, thanks to the very enthusiasic and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed every minute of it to say the least. Towards the end of the tour my wife felt quite ill suddenly. Our guide help us to get to a general hospital to get emergency care. We truly appreciate her help and the great intro she gave into Klimt himself and his work.

This was one of two tours we took with Julia. Both were excellent. My wife and I knew very little about Klimt other than "The Kiss" and "The Woman in Gold" and essentially nothing about his life or the scope of his work. This tour was great not only because we learned so much about Klimt and the evolution of his work, but we visited three outstanding venues all of which are interesting in their own right. Julia has a talent for explaining and illustrating how his art evolved pointing out the transitions as they occurred in his work. Incredibility fascinating and more importantly, fun and enjoyable. Julia is a pleasure to learn from, and we highly recommend her. My guess is every tour she has curated would be great based on the two experiences we had with her (our other tour was the must see masterpieces of the Museum of Art History (Kunsthistorisches Museum).
