You are at the mercy of other travelers. If they cancel and no one else takes their place, there aren’t enough people to fly. They try to reschedule you again and again. My tour was eventually canceled because I couldn’t have them continuously juggle me around as I had other commitments on my vacation. I was not aware they aren’t very busy and have a hard time filling up a helicopter. My first time being on this side of the country so I was very disappointed.

We strongly recommend that you read Viators important information that clearly states that Grand Canyon helicopter flights require a minimum number of passengers to operate. Your Viator voucher clearly states that there is a possibility of cancelation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. Our Reservation Team extended several alternative departure times, which your refused. Private flights are available for up to six passengers.
Just do it! You won't regret it! Are you a lazy girl like us? Is it hot? If yes, this is for you. Joe, the driver was chill when my sister didn't bring her ID and waited for her to go back and get it. Our pilot, Mad Dog (not a real dog) Mike took us on a great flight.
The service was excellent from the moment they picked us up at the hotel, the driver was very kind, as was the staff who received us at the company, but without a doubt the best was the pilot Eddie, the tour was excellent, he explained to us what each place we passed was and the flight was wonderful, I have no words to describe how fantastic it was, when we arrived at the ranch the staff was kind and very attentive, the food was delicious. Without a doubt I recommend this experience, unforgettable
It’s worth doing this trip, it will leave you speechless. The pilot was very knowledgeable about the whole area you fly over not just the canyon. He engaged with all six passengers. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel we were greeted by friendly staff. Probably one of the best holiday trips I have ever done!!!

It was an absolutely thrilling experience! It was my first time in a helicopter and I did this solo. It did not disappoint. I felt like a kid in a candy store with $1 million to spend! The views of the Canyons and the Hoover Dam were breathtaking. Even though the Canyon terrain was quite brown, it was still an amazing sight to behold. Marcus, our pilot, made sure everyone on board had the opportunity to see all the major landmarks, regardless of which side of the helicopter they were seated on. I rode in the jump seat, which made the experience even more exciting. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. I was picked up at my hotel in a luxury van by a very nice driver. I especially loved his long beard! He was warm and personable, and we had a lovely conversation during the short drive to the hangar. Marcus, was informative, professional, and kept everyone entertained with some good and bad dad jokes. He made the flight both educational and fun. I was interested in the ecological impacts to the Canyons. Marcus was able to provide some things to think about. He was honest with what he knew and didn’t know. Flying over the Las Vegas Strip was the perfect climax to an unforgettable afternoon. An aerial view of LV hotels and convention center gave me some appreciation for their incredible size and grandeur. Only complaint, and it is really minor, was the add-on photo they take is not very good. It could have been sharper or provided to you via email. BUT I highly recommend this experience, even if you are traveling solo, like me, or with friends of any age.
We did the extended trip, very glad we did. The scenery is breathtaking!! The ride is worth all of the money!!! Recommend highly!!
This was amazing. I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter and this trip didn't disappoint. The pilot was awesom, we got to sit in tue front. I would highly recommend Velator and this trip!
The crew is well prepared, safety is a priority, and the pilot is very knowledgeable about the history and current affairs of the area. The food at the ranch was great, the wooden furniture was authentic, and we had a lot of fun at the range. I would definitely recommend.
