Inizia il tuo viaggio con un viaggio panoramico attraverso le lussureggianti montagne di Salalah. La tua prima tappa è Wadi Dawkah, un sito patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO che ospita oltre 5.000 alberi di incenso. Respira l'aria rara e aromatica e impara dalla tua Guida sull'antico sentiero dell'incenso che ha reso famoso il Dhofar. Un'oasi senza tempo nel deserto.
Sosta a Thumrait, un tempo un insediamento beduino, ora una vivace città desertica. Sgranchirsi le gambe, incontrare gente del posto e avere un primo assaggio della vita quotidiana ai margini del deserto.
Entra nella leggenda nell'"Atlantide delle Sabbie". Esplora le rovine di Ubar, un centro commerciale un tempo sepolto sotto dune mutevoli. Cammina tra muri fatiscenti dove le carovane un tempo trasportavano incenso attraverso l'Arabia.
Arriva alle 17:30 alle splendide dune di sabbia vicino ad Al-Khadaf per iniziare la tua emozionante avventura. Immergiti nel brivido del dune bashing attraverso le colline dorate, quindi goditi una tranquilla passeggiata tra le ondeggianti sabbie. Termina la giornata arroccato in cima alle dune, macchina fotografica in mano, mentre ti immergi nel tramonto mozzafiato dell'ora d'oro sul deserto del quartiere vuoto - un momento indimenticabile che rimarrà con te per sempre.
Benvenuti nel vostro remoto accampamento nel deserto, a 200 km da Salalah, dove silenzio, stelle e sabbia vi circondano. Assapora un tè omanita caldo, poi sistemati nella tua tenda. Dopo esservi rinfrescati, godetevi una cena tradizionale araba a buffet a cielo aperto. Trascorri la serata vicino al falò o passeggiando sotto milioni di stelle. Svegliati presto per una magica alba su dune incontaminate, seguita da un'abbondante colazione prima del viaggio di ritorno. Più tardi, assapora una deliziosa cena araba a buffet sotto le stelle. Dopo cena, trascorri la tua serata riunita intorno a un accogliente falò o facendo una tranquilla passeggiata sotto il vasto cielo desertico intorno al campo, immergendoti nell'atmosfera tranquilla. Riposa bene, poi alzati presto per assistere alla straordinaria alba del deserto. Successivamente, goditi una colazione tradizionale araba prima di tornare a Salalah per concludere la tua indimenticabile avventura nel deserto.

- I veicoli 4x4 utilizzati per i safari fuoristrada sono climatizzati con una capacità massima di 6 passeggeri più conducente. Tutti i conducenti sono professionisti fuoristrada qualificati. Tutti i veicoli sono dotati di cinture di sicurezza e i passeggeri devono indossarli in ogni momento.
- Pack leggero – portare solo l’essenziale in un piccolo zaino o borsa da giorno. Il segnale mobile è molto limitato o non disponibile nel Quartiere Vuoto – informa in anticipo amici o familiari. Portare con sé farmaci personali ed eventuali articoli da toeletta di cui si può aver bisogno (soprattutto se si hanno allergie o esigenze specifiche).
- Porta una fotocamera o un telefono per le foto e un power bank: le opzioni di ricarica sono limitate al campo deserto. Preparati per una disintossicazione digitale: goditi la pace e disconnettiti dagli schermi. Usa il bagno prima della partenza – le soste nel deserto possono essere basilari.
- Mantenersi idratati – verrà fornita acqua in bottiglia, ma bere regolarmente durante il tour. Rispetta l’ambiente – scatta solo foto, lascia solo impronte. Segui le istruzioni della tua guida durante la guida sulle dune e le passeggiate nel deserto: la sicurezza viene prima di tutto!

An excursion not to be missed, an unforgettable experience. It is not easy to describe the sensations you feel in the desert; you can use words like silence, peace, stars, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, but I assure you it is much more and you have to experience it to understand it. What made the excursion more enchanting was the excellent Omani dinner and the fire lit in a priceless setting. Our guide Hamid allowed us to have a fantastic experience, equipped with excellent preparation on all fronts: he was punctual, brilliant, friendly and available to satisfy our every need. It was a fantastic experience that I can recommend to all people. The colors of the desert are impressive! The tour organization extremely good and our tour guide Hamid was very nice, patient and open to accept our needs even if it was radaman period. Great people and great Country and amazing experience
Very good communication before the punctual pick-up in Salalah. Hamid told us a lot about the country and its people on the drive to the edge of the dunes. We also received patient answers to our many questions. The stops at the frankincense trees and in the ancient caravan city of Ubar were very informative. Hamid is a very safe driver and the drive through the sand and onto the dunes was a lot of fun with him. We were even given tea there and were able to enjoy the sunset. However, we thought we would drive a little further into the dunes. The camp itself is on the edge of the dunes. We were lucky that there were very few guests that day. The restaurant tent has been completely redesigned. The beds in the pretty tents are very comfortable. There are enough blankets and towels. 2 showers and 4 toilets are available. Since it can get quite cold at night, it might be a good idea to bring a hat. Flashlights are available on site. Anyone who wanted could even treat themselves to a shisha and tea/coffee by the campfire. The evening meal is OK - good Omani/Indian cuisine. There is still room for improvement at breakfast, as there are so many European guests being catered for. But as you don't have much time for it, it's perhaps negligible. By sunrise we were already on foot behind the camp on a small dune and drove back to Salalah straight after breakfast. Many thanks again to Hamid.
