Seguirà una visita a siti notevoli nel Golden Circle - sorgente termale "Geysir", "Cascata d'oro" di Gullfoss, bellissimo parco nazionale di Þingvellir e il sorprendente cratere vulcanico Kerið.

Kerið è un iconico cratere vulcanico di 55 metri di profondità.
La Laguna Segreta è la seconda laguna più famosa d'Islanda. Deriva da una sorgente termale che lo rende un rilassante luogo di balneazione. Un promemoria amichevole: poiché Secret Lagoon sarà chiusa per gli aggiornamenti delle strutture dal 13 al 23 maggio, useremo invece la SPA geotermica Laugarvatn Fontana.
Il Circolo d'Oro è una tappa obbligata se viaggi a Reykjavik. Copre tre destinazioni molto diverse e straordinarie: l'area geotermica di Geysir, la cascata di Gullfoss e il parco nazionale di Thingvellir.
Strokkur è il fratellino o il famoso Geysir che non è più attivo. Strokkur però è ancora molto attivo soffiando acqua in aria ogni 7-10 minuti. A questa fermata si può anche acquistare cibo.
Gullfoss è una cascata del fiume Hvítá, che in islandese significa fiume bianco. È caratterizzata da due gradoni a 11 metri e a 21 metri e ha una portata di 100 metri cubi di acqua al secondo.
Thingvellir è una destinazione importante sia dal punto di vista storico che geologico. Qui fu fondato il primo parlamento islandese alla fine del XX secolo e rappresenta inoltre la divisione visibile tra placche continentali eurasiatica e nordamericana.

Monia was the best tour guide! I loved learning about Iceland's history. Great information.
A fantastic way to experience some of Iceland’s highlights in one day. The Golden Circle was spectacular, with breathtaking views at Þingvellir, the powerful Gullfoss waterfall and the impressive Strokkur geyser. Kerid Crater was another beautiful stop and a great contrast to the other landscapes. The highlight for me was definitely the Secret Lagoon. After a full day of sightseeing, relaxing in the warm geothermal water was the perfect way to slow down and take it all in. The whole day was well organised, with a good balance between sightseeing and time to enjoy each stop. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about Iceland, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A long day, but absolutely worth it — a great combination of incredible scenery, Icelandic nature and a little relaxation at the end. I’d definitely recommend this tour.
Great tour guide, amazing scenery and plenty of time at each stop along the way. We especially enjoyed the Secret Lagoon and the fact we had two hours there to enjoy the visit.
