Itinerario
Il percorso del Circolo d'Oro è la destinazione turistica più popolare da Reykjavik. Comprende tre destinazioni iconiche dell'Islanda: l'area geotermica di Geysir, la cascata di Gullfoss e il parco nazionale di Thingvellir.
Gullfoss è una cascata del fiume White Hvítá. Ha due gradini di 11 e 21 metri e ci stanno tirando più 100 m3 di acqua in un secondo.
Strokkur è il fratellino o il famoso Geysir che non è più attivo. Strokkur è comunque molto attivo che soffia acqua in aria ogni 7-10 minuti. A questa fermata puoi anche acquistare del cibo.
I Thingvellir sono sia storicamente che geologicamente un luogo importante. Qui fu il primo parlamento islandese fondato alla fine del 900 e questa è anche una divisione visibile tra le placche continentali eurasiatica e nordamericana.
Kerið è un iconico cratere vulcanico di 55 metri di profondità. Kerið è inclusa solo nelle partenze delle 10:30, non in quelle successive.

Marvin & Pablo made this the most amazing day, the things I got to see, the incredible stuff I learned along the way, the awesome people I met and spent the day with, you can’t pass this up! Such a beautiful day, I couldn’t take it in enough, or take enough pictures 💯 it was my absolute pleasure to spend the day with such wonderful people!!
During the summer, take the earliest tour offered. We took the 10:30 and the crowds at every stop were significant at that time

Mikki was an amazing tour guide. So nice and so knowledgeable.
They upgraded me to the premium tour with tomato and horse show experience for free. I was happy as the pick up point was near where I was staying but then my tour guide, Vjeran, dropped me back to my campsite at the end of the day! Vjeran clearly loves his job, he was very knowledgeable about Icelandic history which I didn’t realise I would be learning from the tour but loved it. There was a perfect balance between time with him talking and time to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Comfy chairs on the bus, delicious tomato soup at the tomato farm, stunning scenery. Vjeran was in no rush at any of the locations, we ran late so that we could spend more time looking at landmarks that are a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend each location whether on a tour or not.

Terrible, you are expected to arrive on time, fine but then also arrive on time yourself. Anyway, it was a mess at the boarding place where a lot of people were waiting for the bus, a bus is coming everyone goes to that bus, a big anthill is nothing, your supervisor for that day will announce names and if you hear these you can get on the bus. Meanwhile, more buses are arriving so you go from bus to bus to see where you can board, well none of the 6 buses have our names mentioned. The buses were not yet gone and we received an email that we were not present, so we were. Immediately called and nothing was possible, but our money back but that does not make it right, it was only possible for us that day.

We cannot identify the full circumstances of this case from the review alone, especially as there were several vehicles operating from the same area that day. Our pickup process involves assigning guests to specific vehicles and calling names from the manifest, but we understand that this can feel confusing when multiple buses are present at the same time. As your booking was refunded, we would like to review exactly what happened before making any assumptions about the pickup. Beautiful experience and a very good day spent at the 4 sites. The time on site is a bit short sometimes, but it makes you want to come back on your own. A big thank you to Andrea, our guide, who provided us with plenty of explanations and stories about Iceland. Thank you
