As a first-time kayaker, I had an amazing experience. The instructor was highly engaging, supportive, and always ready to help when needed. He also shared plenty of interesting information about the area and the surrounding islands, which made the trip even more enjoyable. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see any dolphins and that there was less marine life than expected while snorkeling. Other than that, it was a fantastic kayaking experience with an excellent instructor.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgable but we saw no dolphins or fish because the water visibility was so poor. The kayaking was too short due to weather conditions, we had to walk to our snorkelling stop and we were held up by the lower ability people in the group. It was a nice day but overall disappointed.

As a nature-based experience, conditions such as water visibility, wildlife sightings, and weather are unfortunately beyond our control and can vary from day to day. Dolphins and marine life are always wild and free-roaming, so while we see them regularly, sightings can never be guaranteed. On your tour, weather and tidal conditions required us to adjust the route and shorten the kayaking component to ensure everyone’s safety. The walk to the snorkelling location is sometimes necessary when conditions are not suitable for paddling the full distance, and group pacing is managed to ensure all participants including beginners can enjoy the experience safely. We understand this wasn’t the experience you were hoping for, and we appreciate your honest feedback. Your comments help us continue to communicate expectations clearly and put safety first while offering the best possible experience on the day.
The snorkeling was really short, and we only saw a few greyish fish — no dolphins at all. Not worth the price. And if you’re not an experienced paddler, make sure you don’t go alone — it’s exhausting.
I’m sorry to hear the experience didn’t quite meet your expectations. Wildlife sightings and snorkeling visibility can vary depending on tides and conditions, and while we usually see plenty of colourful fish and marine life (and dolphins on most days), nature sometimes has other plans. We understand paddling can feel like a workout, some days are harder than others especially for first-timers that’s why our guides are always nearby to assist and make sure everyone feels comfortable along the way. Perfect morning activity if you're interested in nature and ecology. Our guide Pete was really friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. We saw some cool fish snorkeling and even got to see the dolphins! Water visibility was better before the tide started going out but even so, Pete knew where/how to see the fish!

Entertaining walk but could not see dolphins and snorkeling was very basic. We saw a couple of fish on the shore when they threw out some food. Entertaining for a family experience but far from snorkeling
Excellent tour. We saw dolphins, fish and sting rays. Pete was amazing tour guide, so happy and funny, making us feel very safe and comfortable. Very knowledgeable of beautiful Queensland! Would 100% recommend
The staff was quite friendly and really helpful. Lots of fun. Was a great experience. Absolutely highly recommended.
