Unisciti a noi per un breve tour in piccoli gruppi alla famosa cascata di Goðafoss, una delle mete turistiche più popolari dell'Islanda settentrionale. Sulla via del ritorno ad Akureyri, percorriamo la costa di Eyjafjordur, uno dei fiordi più lunghi d'Islanda, dove puoi vedere oltre il fiordo fino ad Akureyri e scattare una bella foto. La cascata di Goðafoss è una delle cascate più belle dell'Islanda. Soprannominata la cascata degli dei per via della sua storia. Nell'anno 1000, Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði fece del cristianesimo la religione ufficiale dell'Islanda e procedette a gettare le sue statue di dei nella cascata. Reynir was a great guide. He stopped off at the viewpoint on the fjord to enable us to snap some pictures and enroute to the Godafoss waterfall. Spent an hour taking in the watery sights and then to the Forest Lagoon for prepaid 2 hours of calm and relaxation. We learnt a lot Reynir thank you!

We had the most amazing time visiting the Godafoss waterfall and being able to experience the Forest Lagoon & Spa. We were blessed to have Reynir (tour guide) take us to and from both Godafoss and the Forest Lagoon as he was very informative, friendly and patient which we both appreciated. Prior to going, he made contact via email to keep us in the loop which was great and gave us plenty of time to explore whilst letting us know plenty of information about the history and geography of the area. Should we ever return, we’d very much use Star Travel for our excursions!

Incredible experience! We were the only people booked on, so it was like having a private tour! Our guide took us to all the best viewing spots for photos, gave us time to see things that we wanted to see and finishing the day in the Lagoon was perfect! Would recommend!

Our guide Krista was incredible! Smart, funny and informative. The waterfall was amazing and the forest lagoon was most relaxing. I would recommend the forest lagoon over the blue lagoon near Reykjavik for sure. Much less crowded much less expensive.

The experience was not as described. The waterfall allowed 40 minutes Vaolaheioi Utsynispallur did not happen… We were dropped at the forest lagoon (but not picked back up). The falls were beautiful, and the lagoon was great… tour was just not as described.
