Il tour inizia con un'introduzione alla città di Dublino, mentre ci dirigiamo a sud verso la contea di Wicklow, conosciuta affettuosamente come il "Giardino d'Irlanda". Bellissimi laghi, fitte foreste e romantici ruscelli rendono questo un meraviglioso viaggio panoramico e una bella giornata fuori dalla grande città. Ammira lo scenario reso famoso da film come Braveheart e P.S. Ti amo. Attraversiamo le montagne di Wicklow fino a Glendalough (minimo 1,5 ore di sosta) - la valle dei due laghi. Godetevi una rilassante passeggiata verso l'Upper Lake ed esplorate le rovine monastiche del monastero di San Kevin, tra cui le sue torri rotonde, le croci celtiche e molto altro ancora.

Itinerario
Iniziamo con una presentazione alla città di Dublino, dopodiché lasciamo la città alle spalle e ci dirigiamo verso sud in direzione delle montagne di Wicklow. Incontra i compagni di viaggio per una splendida gita al "Giardino d'Irlanda". Mentre lasciamo la città passiamo accanto al monte Sugar Loaf e scendiamo per Roundwood, il più alto paesino in Irlanda sulla strada verso la magnifica Glendalough.
Glendalough: rinomata per il suo magnifico paesaggio e il patrimonio ricco e vario in termini di storia e archeologia, Glendalough è famosa anche per le scene di matrimonio del film "Braveheart" ed è uno dei più bei siti turistici di tutta l'Irlanda. Avrai un'ora e mezza per esplorare la profonda vallata con le rovine della città monastica in cui vedrai croci celtiche, torri e molto altro. Goditi una piacevole passeggiata lungo la riva del fiume nella "valle dei 2 laghi" attraverso boschi dove verremo accolti dal mormorio dei ruscelli, da cascate cristalline e dai laghi di Glendalough. Un posto perfetto per una foto. Viaggia sul luogo di un set cinematografico! Se sei un fan dei successi di Hollywood "PS I Love You" e "Braveheart", allora partecipa a questo tour! Potrai capire perché Mel Gibson ha scelto i monti Wicklow per rappresentare le Highlands scozzesi e Glendalough come sfondo per la scena del matrimonio. E poi naturalmente ci sono tutte le scene romantiche di "PS I Love You": è qui che Hilary Swank ha incontrato Gerard Butler per la prima volta...non si sa mai chi puoi incontrare!

Terrible. They drop you off with no instructions. You only have 2 hours. Most of that time you are trying to get your bearings and figure out where the attractions are at. By the time you do that you see little. The driver was rude. Yelled at passengers. Ranted about Free Palestine.
Unfortunately this tour didn’t meet expectations. 2nd stops he don’t stop at all. On top of that, the driver/guide spent a significant portion of the drive discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict , he saying support philistine , which felt inappropriate and unprofessional for a paid sightseeing tour. We’d expect a guide to stay focused on the sites, history, and culture we’re there to see — not share personal political
The weather was so and sp so that decreased our lust to walk. The sights was nice but to travel with Mike (Michael) at PaddyWagon tour was even nice 😊 Music in the bus and lot's of laughter and interesting information made the tour to sheer joy! Five stars to him! // Kim & Lisbeth from Sweden
This was a great way to finish out our last day in Ireland. The afternoon option was perfect. It was a beautiful ride and our guide gave lots of good information and was funny.

Driver was excellent, provided a great deal of info and history. The sites were not the greatest. Wish the excursion would have included a drive around the village
Our driver Rory was very informative and funny. The trip didn't last too long and went well. The stay duration of 2 hours is too short, one hour longer would have been perfect. We were there with two children and unfortunately didn't even manage the shortest of the indicated hiking routes. Otherwise it was a great afternoon in beautiful nature 🇮🇪
Wicklow is one of my faves. Did this tour twice now. Wonderful trip out with amazing views and photo ops. Plenty of stops and time at each stop even with my handicap family. Walkers (not wheelchairs) worked well on the trails. Plenty of bathroom stops too. Love the roads, views, and history on this tour. As always, Paddywagon and guide are amazing. Highly recommend this tour. Bus is comfy and first come, first seat so arrive early.
Great experience. Guide gave clear directions and was very entertaining during the drive. Walking to the upper lake well worth the effort.
The bus driver and commentator (Gerry) was fantastic. Informative and humourous. The St. Kevin ruins were beautiful and the walk to the two lakes was good. The scenery (mountains and forest area) were stunning.
