Inveraray Castle & Gardens
La dimora storica del Duca di Argyll, capo del Clan Campbell, immersa in ampi e splendidi giardini con vista sul Loch Fyne. In alternativa, esplora le case georgiane imbiancate a calce della città, le ampie strade e le viste mozzafiato sul lago. Il Castello di Inveraray è aperto ai visitatori dal giovedì al lunedì, 1 aprile – 31 ottobre
Passiamo quindi il castello Kilchurn, uno dei più fotografati della Scozia, annidato sulle sponde del lago Awe e incorniciato in maniera splendida da montagne.
Oban
Successivamente faremo una sosta per il pranzo nella pittoresca città portuale di Oban, ‘Gateway to the Isles’, con tempo libero per esplorare la sua baia a ferro di cavallo e vedere McCaig’s Folly, un’iconica torre del XIX secolo che ricorda il Colosseo di Roma
Castle Stalker
Dopo aver esplorato il tempo libero, proseguiamo oltre il Castello Stalker del XV secolo, che si trova su una piccola isola sul Loch Laich.
Glencoe Mountain Resort
Glencoe, una delle valli più inquietanti della Scozia e luogo sito del massacro del clan MacDonald, nel 1692.
Luss Pier
Alla graziosa cittadina di Luss sulle rive del "Bonnie Bonnie" del lago Lomond, possiamo camminare lungo la riva o ammirare il villaggio prima di ritornare a Glasgow, dove il tour Oban si conclude.

Very picturesque!!!
Fantastic choice of places to visit, many opportunities to take stunning pictures. Small group which was great! It would be lovely if the guide made sure ALL the participants understood him as they come from all over the world ( maybe speak a bit slower? Don't drop the jokes though 🙂!)

Absolutely fabulous experience
Jerry, our driver / guide was great. He was both very knowledgeable and fun. Another plus was a small size of the group ( 6 people). The places we visited were stunning, there was time to take pictures of breathtaking vistas and to have a delicious lunch in Oban. We wholeheartedly recommend this trip.

Enjoyable day trip.
Callum our driver/ guide was excellent at his job, the tour was very enjoyable and l look forward to travelling with Timberbush next year.

The best time and the best tour guide (Blair)
Our tour from Glasgow to the Highlands was an absolute highlight of our trip to Scotland. We had Blair as our tour guide and could not recommend him more. He was so knowledgeable about the Highlands and kept us entertained the whole trip with fun facts, stories, and a curated music playlist that gave us a taste of Highland culture. He was an absolute joy and even played us live music at a little pub on our way back. We loved every second of the tour!

Well balanced in timing, strategic stops, small group, high-level guide. Surprising landscapes, "real" castle with remarkable works of art.

Fabulous and Exciting
It was our best trip ever. Mr Jerry the Guide, what an amazing and funny person, who explained the historical significance of the castles and general history of Scotland and the Glens. His jokes made the trip very much enjoyable. Honestly I would recommend it to all my friends and family members .

The tour was great. I...
The tour was great. I could see a lot of things I had never seen before. The stops for pictures were very worth it and our driver Jerry was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting.

Highly recommend
We had a fantastic time with our Guide Jack. The weather was cooperating and it was beautiful. Jack was very knowledgeable and entertaining and told us a lot of interesting facts. There were plenty of stops to enjoy the views and sites or to just use the bathroom. I can highly recommend.

A fabulous day in the highlands.
The tour guides, Michelle and Blair were excellent. They kept spirits high and entertained us all day with stories, songs and laughs. I took my book for the long day out and never once thought to take it out. The two of them went above and beyond. The sights and scenery were breathtaking and we all loved every twist and turn in the road. Thank you Michelle and Blair for a truly memorable day.
