Raccogli gli ospiti al tuo hotel. Il tuo viaggio inizia con un comodo viaggio in auto da Ho Chi Minh City a Ba Ria – Provincia di Vung Tau.
La nostra prima tappa è Nui Dat, ex base della 1a Task Force australiana. Qui, vedrai i resti della base, comprese le zone di atterraggio degli elicotteri e le aree di campeggio. La tua guida ti spiegherà l'importanza strategica di questa località e il suo ruolo durante la guerra. Potrai anche ottenere informazioni sul perimetro difensivo di 4 km che circonda la base.
Successivamente, visitiamo il Long Tan Cross Memorial, un sito solenne che commemora i soldati australiani e vietnamiti che hanno combattuto durante la battaglia di Long Tan. Il memoriale funge da luogo di riflessione e tributo, offrendo un'esperienza commovente per i visitatori.
Proseguimento per i Long Phuoc Tunnels, una rete sotterranea utilizzata dai Viet Minh e Viet Cong per riparo, comunicazione e combattimento. Scopri la resilienza e le tattiche impiegate dai soldati vietnamiti in questi tunnel ben conservati. Mentre ci trasferiamo tra i siti, passerai attraverso lussureggianti piantagioni di gomma e Mong Ngua Mountain, un ex nascondiglio per le truppe vietnamite. Questo percorso panoramico offre uno sguardo sul paesaggio che ha plasmato la guerra.
Se la tua opzione è solo visitare Long Tan, allora ci fermeremo per il pranzo (a tue spese) e torneremo alla città di Ho Chi Minh. Se la tua opzione è visitare la spiaggia di Long Tan & Vung Tau, quindi procediamo verso la spiaggia di Vung Tau, goditi il pranzo locale e l'atmosfera della spiaggia (pranzo incluso), visita Bach Dinh poi torna a Ho Chi Minh Ritorniamo a Ho Chi Minh City, ti riportiamo in hotel, concludendo il tuo storico tour sul campo di battaglia.

Hillbilly Jack is everything you are looking for in a local guide. The amount of knowledge and history he was able to impart on the drive was amazing. The sights are humbling, regardless of nationality. This is not quite a 'off the beaten track' tour...but getting close. Cannot recommend the tour and Hillbilly Jack enough!

Our tour guide Hillbilly Jack started the tour with an Incredibly insightful presentation in the car on the context of Vietnam and her history, while focusing in on The Vietnam War, specifically Australian involvement, which was a different perspective from what I’ve seen on the rest of my trip. He showed us the powerful sites of Nui Dat and the rubber plantation at Long Tan. Very informative and a good communicator. Excited to book something else with him as my tour guide
