Gita panoramica alle montagne del Velebit, grotte e fiumi nella zona di Zara

Lascia che ti accompagni in un'entusiasmante gita turistica di un'intera giornata che include anche alcune escursioni a vari punti di interesse, durante le quali visiteremo le montagne, le grotte e i fiumi della zona di Zara. La nostra enfasi sarà sulla catena montuosa del Velebit, protetta dall'UNESCO, la più bella della Croazia, che offre paesaggi e panorami fantastici. Per prima cosa visiteremo punti panoramici attraenti sul ponte Maslenica e sul fiume Zrmanja. Quindi attraverseremo la catena del Velebit attraverso la storica Master's Road e passeremo sotto le pittoresche scogliere calcaree di Tulove Grede, dove faremo un'escursione facile e panoramica di 1,30 ore con splendide viste. Da lì continueremo sulla catena del Velebit e scenderemo lungo il suo lato settentrionale, ricco di foreste, fino alla regione montuosa della Lika e procederemo a visitare la bellissima Cerovačke Špilje (Grotte di Cerovac) (l'ingresso ad entrambe le grotte costa 15€ o 18€ in piena stagione estiva). Dopo la visita alle grotte attraverseremo nuovamente il Velebit e scenderemo al fiume Zrmanja per una nuotata rinfrescante nelle sue acque cristalline (stagione estiva).

Splendida vista sul fiume Zrmanja e un luogo in cui si trovava il villaggio di Pueblo nei film di Winnetou (non tutte le escursioni ci portano qui)
Velebit è la catena montuosa più bella e più importante della Croazia e l'intero tour ruota attorno ad essa

Aleksander took us on a special hike tailored for us since it was just 2 of us. He was chatty, nice, funny, and we had a lovely day. Then he helped us find a auto repair shop to fix our brakes. He called them directly and set it up for us. He went above and beyond and we highly recommend booking with him.
Alexander was a great and enthusiastic guide. He not only brought us to as many hidden places as we interested in, he also gave us the historical and scientific context for the locations we visited. It’s a great trip, I can imagine how much fun it would be to swim in the Summer.
Great tour❣️ Alexander picked us up on time at our hotel for our personal day of touring for the two of us. Alexander gave us options for the tour according to our interest…we chose hiking in the Velebit Range, the lower cave, and the river. He shared his passion and knowledge of geography, topography, Croatia, weather, and history of these areas. It was such a personal day of interaction, sharing, and exploring. It was these reasons why we thought this was our favorite tour out of eight tours we have taken this trip of both Italy and Croatia! Did I mention we are 70 years old?
Nice day trip that offers different scenic landscape and other sides of Croatia. Mountain in October looks simply awesome. Guide is passionate with hiking and can share many other local stories. Happy to have opted for this tour.
Our guide, Aleksandar, was very knowledgeable. The stops that we made were beautiful. The guide stopped at several scenic places for us to take beautiful photos. Climbing up the mountain trails, he went at our pace. We were able to stop and take photos and ask questions along the route. The trip to the caves was just over an hour and on the way we stopped at a natural spring and filled up our waterbottles. The caves were located on the hill above the parking lot, so it was a little hike up the hill to get to the entrances, but well worth the additional hike. We enjoyed the cool temperatures in the caves and the beautiful formations that the caves had in them. The river was beautiful. It has several small waterfalls in it and was breathtaking! Wonderful experience!! Highly recommended!!
