Questo viaggio ti porterà nella zona di Almopia dove si trovano le sorgenti termali di Pozar (sotto il fuoco in lingua slava) ai piedi del monte Voras. Lì si trovano le strutture dei bagni Pozar, con i suoi 48 bagni individuali, 6 piscine coperte e la grande piscina all'aperto. È un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e lavare via l'ansia della vita urbana. Visita anche le bellissime cascate di Edessa, passeggia nel suo parco naturale e pranza vicino alle cascate. Rientro a Salonicco nel pomeriggio.

Immagina di essere in una piscina tra rocce scoscese, cascate naturali e vegetazione selvaggia. Senti il calore rilassante dell'acqua (37 ° C) che toglie la tensione dal tuo corpo e lascia che i tuoi occhi vagano per la gola verdeggiante dove scorre il torrente Agios Nikolaos (San Nicola), (noto anche come Thermopotamos che significa 'fiume caldo' in greco). Esalta i tuoi sensi in questa natura incontaminata dove il verde è il re e anche i rami degli alberi (principalmente piane e salici) sono tutti ricoperti di lussureggiante edera. The waterfalls was the best part. Beautiful scenery and rushing water and falls. From our Ships port it was at least an hour drive to the first stop. Our guide /driver was excellent and very knowledgeable.

We did this excursion on our cruise stop in Thessaloniki. We had the absolute best day. Antonis was our tour guide, he was absolutely amazing! He was funny and so kind. The thermal bath was so peaceful and warm. The restaurant at the top of the stairs was delicious. Great food and great service. The second stop at the waterfall was so beautiful. Our ride from the port was about an hour and 40 minutes, it was so scenic. The drive went by so quickly with amazing Antonis. Definitely would recommend this tour and Antonis!

Our driver Bill was excellent. He drove safely and we never felt any anxiety while on the road. He took us to the thermal springs which were very nice. But the highlight was Edessa Falls. They are so beautiful. Bill stayed with us and took pictures for us so we could both be in them. He then took us to an amazing restaurant with food to die for. I recommend this excursion if you’re interested in really seeing the beautiful countryside. And if you get Bill as your driver then you’ll be super lucky.
