Grazie alla sua storia millenaria, alla magia dell'isola di Ortigia e al fascino della sua costa, Siracusa è una delle destinazioni più ambite della Sicilia. Il nostro autista verrà a prenderti dal tuo alloggio all'orario che preferisci e ti condurrà nella bellissima città di Siracusa. La prima tappa sarà alla Neapolis, l'area archeologica della città. Qui avrai tempo libero per ammirare l'anfiteatro romano e l'imponente e solenne Teatro Greco, il più grande dell'isola e uno dei più grandi al mondo, interamente scavato nella roccia. Potrete visitare anche l'Orecchio di Dionisio, una grotta artificiale posta proprio sotto il Teatro. Si chiama così per la sua forma dell'orecchio e anche per le sue proprietà acustiche. Successivamente, l'autista ti lascerà all'isola di Ortigia, l'antico centro storico di Siracusa. Qui avrai tempo libero per passeggiare nelle caratteristiche strade e vedere i monumenti più importanti come la Fonte Aretusa, la Cattedrale e il castello Maniace.

La prima tappa sarà al parco archeologico della Neapolis. un patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Qui è possibile vedere i resti più importanti dell'antica città greca e romana. Il teatro greco, l'anfiteatro romano, le antiche cave di pietra, l'orecchio di Dioniso e l'altare di Ierone, sono solo alcuni dei monumenti che si trovano all'interno di questa vasta area verde
La Cattedrale della Natività della Beata Vergine Maria si trova nella parte più alta della città e la sua facciata unisce stile barocco e rococò.
All'ingresso dell'isola di Ortigia verrete accolti dal profumo di ogni tipo di spezia, dal peperoncino dell'Etna, ai dolci di mandorle, ma anche dai frutti di mare e dal pesce fresco. Una bella occasione per conoscere i nostri prodotti locali e imparare nuove ricette siciliane.
Risalente agli inizi del VI secolo a.C., oggi i suoi resti svettano al centro di un giardino che rende ancora più spettacolare l'intero paesaggio.
Si trova nella parte più antica di Ortigia. Si tratta di un suggestivo specchio d'acqua reso ancora più speciale da rigogliose piante di papiro. È anche il luogo dove è ambientata la leggenda di Aretusa e Alfeo.
In Piazza Archimede si trova la fontana monumentale di Giulio Moschetti, che rappresenta la dea della caccia, antica protettrice di Siracusa.
Avrai tempo libero per esplorare la bellissima isola di Ortigia, è il quartiere più antico della città siciliana di Siracusa. È una sorta di “città nella città” e di “isola nell’isola” tanto da renderlo uno dei luoghi più speciali del Sud Italia.

Andrew our driver was a lovely young man. Felt very safe with his driving. The Necropolis was very interesting and Ortega is beautiful. Make sure you take a hat and lots of water as it was very hot in both places.
A great trip. Costa was friendly, professional and informative. It was a very comfortable drive and then we got to explore ourselves and make the most of our time.

I highly recommend this private transport service from Taormina to Siracusa and Ortigia with drop-off in Catania!
