Mentre la giornata volge al termine, dirigiti verso il magnifico Castello di Windsor, il più antico e il più grande castello continuamente occupato al mondo. Qui, nel cuore dello splendore reale, immergiti nella storia regale dell'Inghilterra. Esplora i sontuosi appartamenti di stato, dove un tempo re e regine tenevano corte e intrattenevano i loro ospiti. Lasciati stupire dalle sale dei ricevimenti, risplendenti di scintillanti lampadari, squisiti arazzi e opere d'arte inestimabili. E infine, rimani in soggezione davanti alla Royal Chapel of St. George, l'ultima dimora di molti dei monarchi più leggendari d'Inghilterra, tra cui Elisabetta II. Notare che: • Il Castello di Windsor è una residenza reale attiva e come tale può essere soggetta a chiusure dell'ultimo minuto. • Tieni presente che ci sarà una passeggiata di circa 15 minuti dal parcheggio dei pullman al Castello di Windsor. - Il Castello di Windsor è una residenza reale funzionante e come tale può essere soggetta a chiusure dell'ultimo minuto. Tieni presente che ci sarà una passeggiata di circa 15 minuti dal parcheggio dei pullman al Castello di Windsor. Alcuni tratti del percorso sono in salita e potrebbero non essere adatti ai passeggeri con problemi di mobilità. La Cappella di San Giorgio è chiusa ai visitatori la domenica poiché le funzioni si svolgono durante tutto il giorno, quindi non sarà possibile entrare nella cappella. L'accesso alla Cappella di San Giorgio potrebbe essere limitato nei giorni di punta e durante il servizio. Martedì e mercoledì il Castello di Windsor non è aperto. In questi giorni visiteremo comunque Windsor Town ma non sarà possibile l'ingresso al Castello. Includeremo invece l'ingresso alle Terme Romane e poi, una volta a Windsor, la tua guida condurrà un tour a piedi di questa bellissima città storica che includerà opportunità fotografiche del Castello. (applicabile solo a martedì e mercoledì)
- Il clima britannico può essere variabile, pertanto si consiglia agli ospiti di controllare le previsioni del tempo e di vestirsi in modo appropriato. Si consiglia di portare con sé alcuni vestiti caldi soprattutto nei mesi invernali e gli strati sono buoni per adattarsi alle condizioni meteorologiche in continuo cambiamento. È una buona idea indossare calzature adeguate poiché nei nostri tour sono previste passeggiate. L'Inghilterra è conosciuta per la pioggia quindi è consigliabile portare con sé una giacca impermeabile o un ombrello.

Gabriel was a great knowledge tour guide! Brian drove us safely and efficiently. Size of coach was great however charging pots did not work.
I am so glad we booked the trip we did. There are a lof of options to take a tour to see Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor. The smaller bus and group (16 max) made the whole process feel less overwhelming and the ride was very comfortable. Our driver, Dominick, was very friendly. Our tour guide, Mag (I know I'm spelling it incorrectly, but it sounds like Madge and is short for something else) was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and approachable and answered all of our questions. We had ample time at each stop. Don't forget Windsor is a working castle so access to what you see is limited. But still amazing. Stonehenge and Windsor met my expectations. Bath was a little disappointing. The tour we took did not include access to the Roman baths because of the day of the week we took our tour. Our lunch at the Abbey Deli was really good. Specific to Bath, the one side of town is cute. But Bath specifically... The pictures people post are so quaint and cute and, generally speaking, it is. But it's busy and there is a whole shopping area. I get it, people live there, but don't be surprised by how modern and touristy it is versus the pictures people post.
The travel was very smooth, very interesting, and very educational. The driver/guide was personable and knowledgeable. She immediately learned everyone's name, and related to everyone extremely well.
Maj and Toby were excellent. Enjoyed all the sites. Comfortable vehicle.
We never kept to the schedule he told us at the beginning. Nowhere near enough time at either Stonehenge or Windsor. Could have skipped bath and had enough time at the other places. Had less than an hour at Stonehenge, couldn’t even walk all the way around it and not enough time for audio tour. Bath is a lovely town but would gladly have skipped it to get more time at other two spots. Barely got to Windsor before they were closing each of the places so nowhere near enough time there either. Skip bath and add an hour to each of the other places and this would have been fine.
This was a wonderful tour but the "executive coach" was sent out without proper air conditioning. Although the AC showed signs of failure at the morning pick up, the driver insisted the coach would cool down as the trip progressed. The trip to Stonehenge was unbearable as the temps in the UK was over 37 degrees. The issue was so bad that the tour operator had to dispatch a replacement coach to meet us in Stonehenge over 90 miles away. Although we appreciated the replacment coach, the origional coach never should have been dispatched. These small group tours are expensive and this issues totally avoidable. That said, our guide "Nick" was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. The tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath was wonderful.
I would highly recommend this tour. It was a rich experience that was expertly managed by our guide Stefan and driver Dominic ~many hours but well worth it to reach sites on our must see list. Stephan especially had great information along the way to balance giving highlights and allowing for quiet time.
Stefan the guide was great. Got to Stonehenge early before much worse crowds. Bath was great. Windsor Castle was good very crowded. It was a very hot day. Driver and guide were great.
Excellent tour! A full day, with nice breaks on the comfortable van between stops. Knowledgeable guide Stefan provided excellent and entertaining commentary along the route as we passed through towns and the countryside. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide Stephan was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and fun. The biggest problem is not having enough time in Bath or Windsor Castle . At the castle,the time to get tickets, go through security, obtain our headsets, etc, leaves a limited amount of time to actually see everything before it closes.
