Had to give this five stars as I couldn’t think of anything negative about the day. The views and experiences were amazing, the tour was organised and efficient. I’ve been on several tours this week and this was the only one where the included food was actually quality and delicious. Make sure you take swimmers so you can go for a dip at Mossman Gorge, it is stunningly beautiful. If you are travelling with kids who don’t do long bus rides well, this might not be for you. There are frequent stops but it’s a big distance covered so a couple of long stretches of driving.
Very well organised day, everything went smoothly. We were lucky with wildlife and were able to spot crocodiles, casoere and other birds. Pilvi our tour guide was great. She looked perfectly after us, always available for any questions or needs. And her positive energy was very enjoyable.
Our guide Roger was excellent, so much knowledge about everything we visited.
We had a great day and saw many amazing places, would highly recommend. It is a long day and may need to have an easier day the following day
Matthew R. is an easy going and likeable guy with natural people skills. You feel like you’re just hanging out with the cool kids for the day. He drives safely around the narrow roads and does just enough talk in between stops to keep you engaged (with a few quiet spells if you’re hoping to catch some Zs). The whole experience is not particularly cheap, but considering the place and infrastructure, it is worth the money. The only thing we weren’t so thrilled about is that we had no indication that any of our money siphons back to the aboriginal communities. Kinda stink that all the “recognition” natives seem to get is a sign at the supermarket, etc.
Ben's guide was very good! I think you can participate with peace of mind whether you are a family member, alone or with friends.
Thanks so much!
A great opportunity to get into the rainforest and learn about its intricacies from someone with expert knowledge. It was disappointing that the trip was advertised as being able to swim in the Mossman Gorge, yet when it rains it is not safe. And it rains often, and was raining the day I was there. Our guide told us not to swim. I also found out after the trip that it is a sacred Aboriginal site, so swimming isn't appropriate. I'm glad I didn't swim, but it is a shame that the site is not respected as an Aboriginal sacred site. Also, one of the tour highlights at the cultural centre was a smoke ceremony and introduction to local Aboriginal culture. This lasted for around 5mins. Although a very interesting part of the tour, it was not what I expected. The Daintree River cruise was beautiful and we saw some birdlike and 3 crocodiles. A highlight was walking through the rainforest track at Cape Tribulation and learning about the flora & fauna.

Rich experience. Comfortable transportation. Nice and attentive guide. Very beautiful nature. It was worth it.
Thanks so much for the 5-star review, Pedro :)
This trip was great and guide was great.Crocodiles were exciting. Only thing that I would mayby do my self differently,if had time to do it,make it a 2 day tour (it was a bit busy + long day for 7 year old).
Thanks so much for your kind words, Sini! We’re really glad you enjoyed the trip and got to see some exciting crocodiles! We also really appreciate your feedback about the pace of the day. There really are so many beautiful spots to see in the region, so we do try to include as much as possible to give everyone a great overall experience. That said, we completely understand it can feel like a big day, especially for younger travellers, and a two-day option can be a great way to slow things down. If you ever decide to visit again, we do offer an overnight Daintree tour, which gives a more relaxed pace and extra time to take everything in. Thanks again for coming along, and we hope to see you again on another adventure sometime 😊
Unfortunately, we encountered a partially rainy day. As a result, the viewpoints were not particularly impressive at times, as visibility was limited, but this changed throughout the day, and from my perspective, a short stop could have been made on the way back. Of course, I understand that the entire tour is scheduled with various program points, but here I would have wished for a bit more flexibility. Otherwise, it was a good tour in a comfortable bus with some information about the local history and the rainforest.
Thanks so much for your feedback and for coming along on the tour! Sorry the weather didn’t quite play ball early on, we totally get how that can take away from the views. That said, the rainforest does rely on the rain to stay as lush and beautiful as it is, even if it doesn’t always line up with sightseeing plans 😊We’re glad to hear you still enjoyed the day overall, especially the comfy bus and the info about the local history and rainforest. Thanks again, and hopefully we can welcome you back next time with perfect weather!
