Visita i più importanti siti del D-Day in Normandia in questa gita di un giorno per piccoli gruppi da Parigi. Camminerai sulla spiaggia di Omaha, entrerai nei bunker Tedeschi, visiterai il Museo Overlord, scruterai le scogliere marittime alte 110 piedi alla Pointe du Hoc e renderai omaggio a coloro che hanno sacrificato tutto al Cimitero Americano. Omaha Beach era noto per essere l'obiettivo militare più difficile quando era stata pianificata l'invasione della Normandia. Visiterai i vincitori della medaglia d'onore e anche i fratelli Niland la cui storia nella vita reale ha ispirato il film "Salvate il soldato Ryan".
Prima della guerra c'erano alberi di mele da coltivare in Normandia. I frutteti di mele in Normandia coltivano dozzine di diverse varietà di mele e le trasformano in incredibili succhi di mela, sidri duri e liquore forte chiamato Calvados. A wonderful tour of Omaha, Pointe du hoc, Overlord Museum, the American Cemetery and other sites chosen by our guide, Bruno. Bruno was a magnificent guide who spoke with measured tone and compassion at all sites, I like some of the other louder guides we would see with their groups. If you're able to request Bruno as your guide, you should.
It was a great experience for my family. We had Arthur as our tour guide 07/22/26 and he did amazing at explaining everything that happened and all the stops we would be making. We would invite Arthur to Christmas if it was more convenient since we live in the States.
The intimacy of a small group and the excellent commentary by Chris. Very informative. Loved all the backstory’s he told.
It was a very long day but so worth it to see just how the combined effort of numerous countries toppled the Nazi regime . Thank God they did or we might not be here today . Antoine , our driver and guide , was a great guide and highly knowledgeable .,
The meetup was easy. The vehicle clean and comfortable. We shared the van with one other person and there was plenty of room. The guide was excellent and friendly. We went to all the promised locations and a little more. He was patient and informative. Our guide was passionate about Normandy and had a lot to say. I would say I felt rushed but that’s the cost of trying to see a lot in a single day. This has nothing to do with the tour itself. I’d heard a lot about the difficulty for meals, but he had “his spot” and a table for six was waiting for us. No wait, good food indicative of the region. Blue Fox was great. Thank you.

Our guide's name was Bruno and he did a great job showing us several sites in Normandy including Omaha beach, a German battery, Point Du Hoc, and the American Cemetery. The air conditioned van was very cool in the hotter weather, and we had a great time learning about all of the places we got to visit. The lunch was amazing and we all enjoyed the food.
