Dopo essere stato prelevato dal tuo hotel di Atene intorno alle 08:00, verrai accompagnato al porto del Pireo per salire a bordo del traghetto per Idra.
Dopo meno di 2 ore in traghetto, raggiungerai la famosa isola. Avrai a disposizione 7 ore per esplorare in autonomia Idra. Una volta Idra era una destinazione popolare con gli artisti alla moda durante gli anni sessanta e ha mantenuto un carattere altamente cosmopolita. Non ci sono automobili o motocicli; i camion per l'immondizia sono gli unici autoveicoli ammessi sull'isola. Trascorri la giornata a piedi per la città di Idra, ammirando le case in pietra con i giardini fioriti, gli incantevoli negozi di articoli da regalo e le pittoresche strade lastricate. Asini, biciclette e taxi d'acqua sono i mezzi di trasporto pubblici. Idra ha una varietà di località per il nuoto e spiagge, alcune vicino alla città e alcune remote e isolate, accessibili solo in barca. Lounge bar, caffetterie sul porto e locali rumorosi si trovano in tutta la città, con opzioni che possono soddisfare tutti i gusti. The ferry over to Hydra Island was fine however they left me in the island and I had to pay another €300 to get back to the island and they still have not gotten back with me to reimburse me at least half the trip
Overall we were extremely satisfied with our trip organized by Miss Kami Nguyen from Dream Travel. Highly recommended!!. Every destinations was visited as per the itinerary, without any omissions. The Hotel rooms were very comfortable and all the restaurants chosen were excellent. The majority of our group is from Malaysia so finding Halal Food can be challenging. However with this company, Halal meals were arranged for us in both Hanoi and Sapa. Thank you Miss Kami from Dream Travel for all your efforts.🥰🇲🇾
The Hydra port is very nice to visit. Be careful, it goes up and down. No car, no motorbike... Everything on foot. Postcard harbor, cobbled streets, bars and restaurants with magnificent views. Hiking trails for sports enthusiasts, some walking beaches. Departure from Piraeus is at gate 8, one of the closest to the Piraeus metro. Tickets can be purchased online. Otherwise on site (but in advance to be sure of having a place). Each place is numbered. 40€ per trip or 80€ return
trip was far too long; r hrs on the island more than enoug. we were there for 7. The fast cat 6 over was a decrepit tramp steamer that broke down. The crew were rude and nasty. the trip bsck on the fast cat 1 was extremely pleasant with a bery hospitable crew
Lovely island. Our pick up from hotel was timely as was the pickup from the port. Good drivers. Very pleasant.
Everything went smoothly. Our driver was on time to pick us up at the hotel with the ferry tickets. Hydra is charming. No cars allowed only the donkeys. An abundance of restaurants and great views. Very relaxing.

It was amazing! Our drivers to and from our hotel to port were super helpful and kind. Hydra was Incredible. Such a peaceful island with so much to see and the best cafes and people. We went on a donkey ride around the gorgeous cobblestoned streets and ate amazing food. We saw local historical sites and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the island. Definitely need to see this place when visiting Greece.
This package should not be called a tour. We had transportation from and back to our hotel which was great. The taxi driver gave us our tickets and said there is your boat. There was no representative from that tour at the boat. We got on the boat we did not see anyone from the tour. We did not get any refreshments on the boat. We disembarked and did our own thing. I could have bought the tickets on my own and arranged transportation on our own.
This is an excellent tour for experienced travelers. Ferry tickets and transportation via taxi to and from our hotel to the ferry was provided. The taxi driver escorted us to the ferry and met us after the return trip. We enjoyed our easy self-guided day on Hydra very much.
It was a really nice tripe actually! We enjoyed the views the islands and the shops !BUT the big problem was,that the boat was more than a full ! Most ppl didn't have seats ! And they offer you to buy VIP tickets to sit ! It was awful organised! Second once u r in the islands they offer you to buy tours ! DON'T its just a waist of money as the tours r so short and very expensive! They promised to take us to a pistachio garden but we only crossed by car from it ! They promised to treat us the famous drink OUZO they didnt ! The food was HORRIBLE not testy at all ! It was chicken rice and some salad with one piece of bread ! We had to pay extra to buy food !!! Anyway the guides were FANTASTIC , but be careful dont trust the company too much :)
