Iniziamo il tour da Chiang Mai, viaggiando su strada per circa 90 minuti.
Inizia dalle sorgenti termali di Mae Kachan, un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi nelle calde acque minerali prima di addentrarti più a fondo a Chiang Rai. È un'ottima sosta per rinfrescarsi prima delle principali attrazioni della giornata.
Risaliremo sul bus per un breve tragitto di circa 15 minuti
La tua prossima tappa è un villaggio tribù collinare, sede dell'affascinante tribù Mae Kachan a collo lungo. Qui, assisterete alla tradizione unica delle donne che indossano anelli di ottone per allungare il collo, una pratica culturale tramandata da generazioni. I vivaci mestieri artigianali, l'abbigliamento colorato e l'accogliente comunità offrono uno sguardo sul loro ricco patrimonio. La prossima tappa è il Tempio Bianco, una straordinaria creazione dell'artista Chalermchai Kositpipat. Il suo sorprendente design tutto bianco simboleggia la purezza, mentre l'intricata lavorazione del vetro riflette la saggezza di Buddha. All'interno, murales surreali fondono simboli buddisti con immagini moderne, rendendolo una fusione unica di spiritualità e arte contemporanea. Un altro breve tragitto in autobus ci porterà alla prossima destinazione.
Successivamente, vi attende lo splendido Tempio Blu, noto per i suoi interni blu vividi e gli accenti dorati. La sua atmosfera mistica è esaltata da disegni intricati e statue di Buddha serene. Lo stile moderno ma tradizionale del tempio crea un'esperienza accattivante e colorata, con sculture di draghi a guardia dell'ingresso e un Buddha pacifico all'interno.
Un altro breve tragitto in autobus alla fermata successiva.
Il nostro viaggio continua al Tempio di Hauyplakang, un tranquillo rifugio spirituale noto per la sua impressionante pagoda a nove livelli. Salendo su ogni livello, incontrerai statue buddiste e splendide sculture. Il tempio è famoso anche per la statua di Guan Yin, la Dea della Misericordia, che simboleggia la compassione. Le viste panoramiche dalla pagoda sono mozzafiato, rendendolo un punto culminante del viaggio.

Dee, our tour guide, was beyond amazing!! She went out of her way to inform and encourage everyone, maximising the time we spent at the temples. Anyone that is lucky enough to have her on board the trip will have a great time! The temples were absolutely stunning, could not fault a single part of the trip (aside from maybe the lengthy journey - can’t be controlled) ☺️

We had a great time! Ann was our tour guide and she was amazing! The bus was comfortable and cold! The temples were amazing and breathtaking even though it rained on us we still had a great time! This is a must do excursion when you come to Chiang Mai!

This is a day long trip that includes many varied stops. Hot springs plus long necked ladies and 3 temples. The bus was very comfortable. Our guide Dee was excellent. She was very attentive and provided a lot of historical background.

A great tour! We were nervous it would feel rushed, but it was well paced and we didn’t feel like we needed extra time at any of the spots. Our guide Nat was incredibly informative and shared with us so much about Chiang Rai and Thailand as a whole. She taught us common phrases, how to count, and even what our names are in Thai! Nat definitely went above and beyond. She is the best tour guide I’ve experienced thus far. The tour is a large group (40 people) but it didn’t feel crowded once we were at the spots. Super organized and a great day trip!
