A breve distanza in auto da Volubilis si raggiunge Moulay Idriss, una delle città più sacre del Marocco. Adagiato su due colline, questo pittoresco villaggio ospita la tomba di Moulay Idriss I, il fondatore della prima dinastia islamica del Marocco. Mentre i non musulmani non possono entrare nel mausoleo, puoi passeggiare per le strette strade, ammirare gli edifici imbiancati a calce e godere di viste panoramiche mozzafiato da un punto panoramico in cima alla collina. Moulay Idriss offre uno sguardo sulla vita tradizionale marocchina, e una breve visita qui - in genere circa 30 minuti - è sufficiente per immergersi nella sua atmosfera tranquilla.

Reda was our driver and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was very prompt and took us to some of the best places to eat. If we were staying longer I’d have booked another tour with him. I certainly recommend him as your tour guide!
