Itinerario

The guide Giuseppe was terrific. His knowledge and rapport with the group was great. The bus driver, Vincenzo, was prompt and personable. Yes, that makes a big difference between a great tour experience and a poor one. The time given at each site was enough to wander without being too short or too long. My ONLY complaint was the bus had very weak air conditioning. For a bus that small, it should have been comfortable in the bus. I, however, was sweating like the air conditioning was nonexistent.
5*! a very good guide and Nice visit! i highly recomendo it!
Super easy from Rome, everything is taken care of. Would be very hard to get to both places if we tried to do it on our own. So highly recommend to book, seat, listen, relax!!!
The notice said arrive at least 25 minutes early, which we did. No one was there. Our cab driver read familiar with this tour and confirmed location. Still no one arrived. I called bistro and was told to go to metro station. That was not specific and we missed the tour. We were correct in the first place. There should have been a guide there early. Please reimburse us for this tour. That cost plus transportation both ways is a huge loss. I can’t recommend Viator unless my request is address. Additionally, I never received the correct email and wrote in advance to alert Viator.

Beautiful sites and Giuseppe was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
Guiseppe was amazing. Knowledgeable , personable and kind. You could feel his pride in sharing the beauty and history of his home with us. May God richly bless him!
The trip is a short distance by bus from Rome. It takes you to to fabulous Villas - one a ruins where archeological digs are still proving what an incredible place it once was, the other a 500 year old beautifully executed villa with about 100 fountains still functioning today without pumps or electricity. The pros - the villas are breathtaking, the views incredible and the gardens of both villas are outstanding although you need to use a bit of imagination on the first one (nothing wrong with that - after all they are ruins and we are lucky to see what’s left). Our guide Joseph, was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the two villas. He explained the architecture, the artwork, the different eras of inspiration. He made the trip educational, fun and more than worthwhile. We took lunch included. Personally I would skip that as you can go on your own for lunch and you will do better. The only down side was the bus and its air conditioning. We visited during a hot spell and the a/c on the bus was insufficient. It made the hour there and hour back a little uncomfortable (call me spoiled). Other than that this trip is a must see. If you are in Rome and planning to visit the Trevi fountain, do yourself a favor and take this trip - it surpasses Trevi by a long shot.
Joseph was very knowledgeable and engaging. He kept the tour moving well throughout.
Great guide, a friendly and enriching visit, not to mention the exceptional beauty of the two sites
The sites here are fascinating. The gardens and fountains are amazing. Although this is a long excursion, much of it felt rushed. Our guide’s English was much harder to understand than the other 4 guides I toured with this week. She rushed through many things and could be difficult to keep up with. At one point I was separated from the group for about 45 minutes because of this.
