L’idea di questo tour è quella di portarvi in luoghi rigogliosi dove anche in alta stagione non dovete passare del tempo in fila. Si ha la possibilità di visitare un castello e un palazzo, nonché esplorare un po 'della costa di Sintra, dove ci sono diversi ristoranti deliziosi che servono pesce fresco e frutti di mare. Inoltre, si arriva ad avere una guida locale ufficiale tutto il giorno con voi che parla correntemente inglese, spagnolo e portoghese.

Visitiamo lo storico Castello Mourish in cima a una delle colline di Sintra dove in una giornata limpida si può avere una fantastica vista della città e vedere fino all'Oceano Atlantico e anche oltre Lisbona.
Qui ci meraviglieremo attraverso la bellissima cittadina storica di Sintra dove un tempo soggiornavano Re e Regine al Palazzo Nazionale di Sintra che domina la città.
Godetevi uno dei palazzi meno visitati di Sintra, situato alla periferia della città di Sintra, nascosto tra le colline e la natura, dove si può davvero sperimentare perché Sintra è stata considerata la capitale del romanticismo nel 19 ° secolo. Un grazioso palazzo privato costruito a metà del XIX secolo con una miscela di architettura indiana e araba.
Concludiamo la giornata con un'ultima tappa panoramica nel punto più occidentale dell'Europa continentale - Cabo da Roca. Situato a 140m sul livello del mare dove le onde si infrangono sul fondo delle scogliere. Fu l'ultimo posto che i navigatori portoghesi videro prima di dirigersi nell'Oceano Atlantico durante i loro viaggi.

- Una parte del tempo durante il tour è dedicato al tempo di viaggio. Se siete di base a Lisbona, ci vorrà circa un'ora per arrivare al Castello di Mourish. Da lì al centro storico è normalmente un breve 5-10 minuti di auto a meno che non ci sia traffico. Dal Centro Storico al Palazzo di Monserrate sono circa 15 minuti di auto. Da Monserrate Palace a Cabo da Roca è di circa 20 minuti. E da Cabo da Roca tornare a Lisbona può richiedere circa un'ora.

Bernardo went above and beyond for me and my 79 year-old auntie! I specifically chose his tour due to the chill-nature of the experience. We were able to tailor the tour to match ability levels. Bernardo communicated days before the tour to let me know about slight changes to the exterior of Montserrate, so we were able to make an informed decision about one of the coolest stops of the tour. He was super understanding and flexible when it came to making on- the- fly changes to suit the energy needs of my auntie. I also learned so much during my tour with Bernardo. He gave in-depth history with deep knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. I know I'll be back to visit portugal and I know that I'll book another tour with Bernardo.

Bernardo was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide. We had the best time exploring Sintra’s amazing castles and the surrounding area. I highly recommend booking a tour with Bernardo, you won’t be disappointed.
A friend recommended Bernardo to us and we actually booked him two days in a row. Having a private tour guide was a big advantage as we could tailor our day as we wished. The day in Sintra was so magical. It was like a fairytale town come alive. Unfortunately, the Pena Palace was closed due to weather so we spent the majority of our time at Quinta da Regaleira castle and I am glad we did. The imagination of the owner to build such an elaborate grounds, gardens, tunnels and the piasta resistance, the initiation well was spectacular. Now I need to read Dante’s inferno…iykyk. Highly recommend Bernardo, very professional and knowledgeable.
