Itinerario

This tour was very good, the private transfers and guide make the experience very pleasant... the camel ride is very fun.

Un saludo cordial, Sukret Thank you so much, Natalia! 😊 We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed your Pushkar day trip with us. It’s great to know that the private transfers and your guide made the experience more comfortable and enjoyable — that’s exactly what we aim for. And yes, the camel ride is always such a fun highlight 🐪✨ It was a pleasure hosting you, and we truly hope to welcome you back to India again soon! Warm regards, Sukret
Visited Pushkar Sarovar and market. It's flooded with non invited guides who will accompany you without you confirming them and will charge anywhere from Rs.50 to 150 to take you to some ghat where they have a tie up with and to some temples to hand you over to some Pandit ji, Who will perform some non desired Pujas for you and "push" you for donations starting Min. Rs. 2100... The more emotional or spiritual you are the more you will shell out.... So if you are coming for pure leisure without any intent of some rituals, better roam around by yourself without any so called local guide. Don't fell prey to these Pandit Ji at any of the ghats. Market otherwise was good and vibrant. Crowded with lots of people and animals (Cows and dogs).. so you have to be very careful while walking with young kids or elderly people.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to highlight your experience in Pushkar. Pushkar is a deeply spiritual town, and unfortunately, like many popular pilgrimage destinations in India, there are independent local guides and priests (pandits) around the ghats and temples who may approach visitors on their own. These individuals are not associated with our tour or our assigned guide, and participation in any rituals or donations is completely optional. We always brief our guests in advance that: They are not required to engage with any local pandits or rituals unless they personally wish to Donations, if any, should only be given voluntarily and at the guest’s discretion Guests preferring a leisure-focused visit are encouraged to explore the ghats and market independently and comfortably We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the vibrant Pushkar market, and we appreciate your honest note—it will certainly help future travelers visit with better awareness. Thank you once again, and we hope to welcome you on another journey with us under even smoother circumstances.
The whole trip was seamless and well worth doing. The driver Noordeen was very pleasant, always attentive and his English was very good. He followed us from the various events and was on hand when necessary. The guide was Manish who was excellent as he was local was very passionate and informative, we enjoyed our time together. I would really recommend this tour as it has varied experiences.

Our pick up was at 7.30am at the hotel and our driver for the day was Noordeen Khan. He is a very pleasant, soft spoken man who was fluent in English. This was an important criteria for us as neither of us were proficient in Hindi. He was also very attentive to our needs and made us feel safe. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout our three hour long drive to Pushkar. We highly recommend him and will hire him again on our next visit. Noordeen arranged us, a guide, Rajesh who is a local tour guide Rajesh, who briefed us on the background of Pushkar, its spiritual significance and guided us into Brahma temple. We had the great fortune of standing in front of the garba griha to have direct darshan of Sri Brahma Dev and Gayathri Devi. Next, Rajesh took us to Pushkar Lake or also known as Brahma Sarovar. Along the way there were many shops selling various items. At the lake, we took Rajesh’s suggestion to engage another priest to perform Pitr Tarpan, a ritual for deceased ancestors. The fee paid for this service is done to the priest society which takes care of the welfare of the community, temple and the lake maintenance. Next as per the itinerary, we were meant to go for a camel ride but we were not keen on it. We had requested earlier during the journey to Pushkar for a stop at Varaha Temple as a substitute for a camel ride. Unfortunately we were informed that the temple is closed between 11am to 4pm. We left for Savitri Mata temple but here too we were too late. The ropeway ticket had closed for the afternoon. We were deeply disappointed as both these temples were important to us. In future, if we were to redo this trip from Jaipur, we would probably stay overnight. This way, we can manage Brahma temple and Sarovar before noon. Next day, visit Varaha temple and Savitri Devi temple.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful and detailed review. We're truly glad to hear that you had a positive experience with Noordeen Khan, who is indeed one of our most professional and caring drivers. It’s great to know that his fluent English and calm demeanor made your journey to Pushkar smooth and comfortable. We also appreciate your kind words about Rajesh, our local guide, who helped you connect spiritually with the sacred sites and rituals like Pitr Tarpan at Pushkar Lake. We would like to gently clarify a few important points regarding your itinerary. On the day of your visit, it was raining in Pushkar, which unfortunately affected some temple schedules. Normally, both the Varaha Temple and Savitri Mata Temple remain open until 8:00 PM, and the Savitri Temple ropeway runs until sunset. On that particular day, however, there was an unusual early closure due to weather conditions and temple protocols. Our driver Noordeen did suggest waiting in Pushkar** so that you could visit these temples later in the day, once they reopened. However, we fully respected your decision when you chose to return to Jaipur instead. Generally, this tour is very much doable in one full day, including Brahma Temple, Sarovar, Varaha Temple, Savitri Mata Temple (via ropeway), and local markets or camel rides. For guests wanting a more relaxed pace or deeper spiritual experience, an overnight stay in Pushkar is also a beautiful option — just as you mentioned. We thank you once again for your heartfelt feedback and recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you again and ensuring your next journey is even more memorable.
We were offered “a tour guide” for free who then only showed us the Brahma temple and the lake. His mission was to convince us multiple times to make donations which we very well know was a scam. Really left a bitter taste in our mouth and ruined our Pushkar trip.
Dear Devarshi, You have booked with us only Transportation option ( which includes only car & driver ). You have hired a guide by your own which we didn't offered you. We always recommend to buy full package all inclusive which include our own guide. When you go in the city there are local guide's which offered travellers free guide services and always look for comission and all. We are sorry for it & advise future travellers which buy only transport service that to not accept any free guide's in the city with the local's.
Excellent day trip from Jaipur. The driver and tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. We were able to see many different sites in one day and the included lunch was delicious. Highly recommend for a unique day experience.
Thank you Emily for the review.
Great day out at Pushkar in comfortable car. Although driving was fast, it was comfortable and I did not get car sick at all (I usually do) Activities in Pushkar are well paced - Hindhu Gayathri temple to start off - Holy Lake next with (optional) donation and merit making. - Vegetarian lunch at local restaurant - Savitri temple the local guides were super helpful in explaining about the sites and helping my mother who has difficulties walking after 3-4 days of walking in Jaipur and Agra. Overall a great day!!
Thank you Tom for the review. It was such a wonderful time with you and your mother in Pushkar Tour. We wish you all best.
We really enjoyed this day trip. Smooth pick-up and trip from our hotel in Jaipur to the holy city of Pushkar with a private driver. The guide met us inside of Pushkar and we went through all the main attractions of the holy place. The guide explain really well the meaning of the buildings, temples, culture, religion and some of the rituals. He also showed us local stores of the market for some nice souvenirs. We took the cable car to the temple up in the mountain and the camel ride to the desert. I recommend this tour to everyone

The driver was friendly and had a nice car. The guide was good at explaining what happened around us, and especialy we liked how he arranged a temple priest to help us through a cerremony. He did not ask us first if this was something we would like, and if he had done so we would probably have said no - yet this was the high light of the tour. The Camel ride was great - had it ben 15 minutes sorter it would have ben just as great🙂 Lunch was at a very good resturent as well. We did not fully understand that the guide would not meet us at the end of the cable car ride, so we missed the opertunity to tip him. The only Thing that we would have liked was 30 minutes at the Market, but we ran out of time 🙂
Thank you for the review. It was such a wonderful time with you. Wish you all best !
My day trip to Pushkar was quite interesting, although the journey was a bit long. However, our guide was very friendly and the restaurant we visited was also quite nice. On the other hand, the jeep tour in the desert felt unnecessary. Spending an hour driving full speed over a sand dune wasn't particularly enjoyable or insightful. I believe a tour of the streets of Pushkar would have been more interesting and enriching
Thank you Ludivine for the review.
